Taylor's Barber Shop — Local services in Walton

I’ve been here a few times and I’ve gotta say their great talented guys in this shop. I did quit going and this is the reason for the 4 star review and not 5. Last time I went I went for a haircut and beard trim as I had a beard competition coming up. I’ve had the same barber every time except for the last time. No I unfortunately can’t remember their names. I explained to the guys I have vertigo and can’t be spun around in the chair. The regular barber understood their and he only did it once after explaining which was great! The second guy I believe the youngest fella at the time I told him the same thing. He did it anyway multiple times. Haircut was great, when he got to the beard trim I explained I only need a minor trim to get rid of split ends and some of the thinner parts at the bottom of the beard. He chopped off inches of my beard which was extremely disappointing, so I wasn’t able to compete in the category of the beard comp I like to, so I’ve taken to going elsewhere...

Called 30 min before I went in guy answering said yeah get there before 1230 we'll get you right in Went in stood around 15 min not 1 guy out of 6 barbers said anything the entire time until I got tired of waiting so I left When I walked out 1 finally said "I don't do walk ins the 4th guy down does" Nice to know after waiting around 15 min for nothing Just my recommendation someone walks in, greet them, ask if they have a appt or walk in If a walk in direct them to the barber that does walk ins & where to sit & let that barber know a customer is waiting I won't be going back & if u decide to go you need to ask who does the walk ins Kinda glad I left they charged $30 for a kids fade hair...

Took my Dad here on Thursday last week. Easy booking on booksy. Walked in and was greeted nicely (we think by the owner?) and the shop was clean and neat. The gentlemen who cut my Dads hair did an absolutely wonderful job. We’ve been a few places since he moved to Nky with me and he’s never happy (he’s 76) and he left there happy as a lark. It made me so dang happy. His haircut looked great, the gentleman who cut his hair was quick and efficient. Think we’ve finally found somewhere to go that is a true “Barber” and does a fantastic...
