I havenât had such a bad experience with so called customer service. My hot tub costs me a fortune simply because the so called pros at the store display nothing but the lack of knowledge in the products they are selling resulting in their customers to buy more products. I have been to the store 3 times for the past month having the âpleasureâ to speak with 3 different people. All these times, I brought my hot tub water for a test because my strips kept showing absence of sanitizer. When I called prior to traveling to the store, I was told to keep adding more - no other questions were asked. It was a firm statement - add more! Not to mention the sanitizer is $30 a bottle. When The whole bottle was over and I called again, the office suggested I should come to the store for the water test. That time, a young gentleman took an open jar of store Baqua strips and handed them to suggesting that my strips at home were old and I should test my water with those strips after adding even more sanitizer. He did use one of those store strips to test the water I brought and sure enough it showed I had no sanitizer. So adding more didnât help and I called again. I was yelled at by a woman this time who said that I need to add MORE. She did try to calculate how much I needed to add by saying âitâs written on the bottle, but I will read it to youâ - what happened then made me question even my own sanity during this conversation. She kept assuring me that I needed to triple the amount written on the bottle. My tub is 330gallons and the amount on the bottle is per 150gallons. She screamed, âOh my God, 150 times 3 is 350!â I wish that conversation had been recorded! Can you imagine my frustration? When she finally realized that she was wrong, she suggested I should come to the store again. As if my experience with these people wasnât bad enough, the same woman (I recognized the attitude) told me I have wrong strips at home (the ones I was given by their own people). She also said that they were old!!!! They offered faulty strips to me to test my water at home and sure enough to buy more sanitizer!!!! When I asked about metal and scale solution and how it should be used, she got infuriated because she couldnât explain properly how one would see if they need to apply it. She kept referring to the brochure she had but answering the questions based on that very brochure was so challenging for that woman that she started pretty much kicking me out from the store. Finally, she said, âGood bye and sorry we canât provide the service to your expectationsâ. I have lived in this county for 15 years and I will honestly say, this lady went too far! I have never been treated like that and I doubt I buy...
Read moreI am a long term spa owner with nothing but excellent comments about my previous dealer, 80 miles away. I recently moved to this area, sadly leaving my previous spa and dealer behind. As soon as I moved into my new home, I visited Spring Dance Hot Tubs showroom in Jamison, anxious to get back into some hot water. Upon entering the showroom, I was immediately greeted by Tama, who proceeded to give me an education on the latest hot tub features, dimensions, colors, options, prices, tubs currently on sales, all with absolutely no pressure. She could not have been more informed on every aspect of the products. We exchanged stories and photos of our dogs, and our personal cell phone numbers, in case I had to reach Tama when she wasn't in the store. I then was introduced to other members of their service and delivery teams. I received printouts, including prices and options for each of the tubs that I was considering. VERY PROFESSIONAL. I left the store, knowing that I would be purchasing my next hot tub there. After coming home and measuring my available space, I decided on a Hot Springs Grandee, so I call back to place my order, with my call being taken by Bill, the manager. He was just as professional, just as friendly, and just as informed. I placed my deposit over the phone, and with tub specification documents given to me, I filed for a permit with my township. With permit in my hand, Tama referred me to an excellent electrician who was totally familiar with my tub and my township's requirements. Spring Dance Hot Tubs made the entire process easy. Before I could blink, I received a phone call from the delivery department, and arranged for what was a quick and totally painless delivery, by their obviously very experienced and professional delivery team, who arrived as promised. Within an hour of delivery, the electrician arrived, and within one hour my hot tub was wired, tested, and the water was being heated. NOW THAT IS SERVICE!!! With the delivery, Spring Dance delivery personnel explained water chemistry, and supplied me with a very clear and simple document on water chemistry, making that process easy. My experience with Spring Dance Hot Tubs has been OUTSTANDING. I have already referred one of my friends to Spring Dance. I highly recommend them, without any reservation. Thank you Spring...
Read moreWe had a hot tub from SPRING DANCE in Jamison years ago; a 4 person modelâŚgot 7 years or so out of it. Loved it after sports and on the occasional beverage-sipping evening.
Decided, as the years have piled up, to get one to deal with the arthritis that comes with old age and the muscle soreness that occurs after walking golf courses.
Our salesman, Will McCarthy, was knowledgeable, personable, and professional. He was able to answer all of our questions and wasnât the least bit pushy.
We settled on the CALDERA KAUI 2-3 person model. After 3 days, loving every minute of using it.
The installation crew was terrific. The instructions were clear and they made efficient use of time.
In addition, Christina at the retail desk tested my water after a couple of weeks of use and spent quite a bit of time REALLY explaining proper chemical usage and how to keep our salt system in optimum condition. Sheâs incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and patient ( Iâm pretty clueless).
PS: We didnât like the bracket that raised and lowered the cover. While it worked well, it didnât allow the skirt of the cover to hang properly and there were just too many obtrusive screw heads. We went back and Will showed us another bracket that only has a single arm and looks much better.
He promptly sent another crew out and, in 15 minutes or so, they attached the other bracket. They filled in the other holes with screws that blend very well with the shell.
VERY pleased with SPRING DANCE.
Tips:
âŚLook at both types of cover lifters in the store
âIf you buy the cover that splits in the middle, it makes getting in and out of the tub a breeze. Just fold the first half onto the second and lean on the cover as you get in with your left hand. Then push the cover back when youâre inâŚno...
