I've been a patron of "The Wick" for many, many, years now. It's hands down my favorite neighborhood bar out of all the places I've found over many years of travel. You'll see a lot of the same people at the bar during the day. It's as popular as a lunch spot as it is a watering hole - and for good reason. George (the owner) can usually be found at the far end of the bar during daytime hours, and will always make sure he says hello and asks how you've been. The bartenders never let your glass sit empty longer than a moment or two, and as far as bar-fare food goes, it's pretty top notch. I can't remember ordering anything there that i disliked, but make sure you try the wings, they're breaded (and my wife's favorite) and its a solid portion. Daily lunch specials can usually be found on the white board, and the bill is almost always less than I anticipate it to be. If billiards is your thing, you are in luck - there's a well-maintained pool table just steps away from the bar. Weekend nights can be hopping, and it's usually a middle-aged crowd - I don't believe I've ever seen any riff-raff activity here in my many years of eating/drinking there. I'll always be back! A+ to "the wick"...
Read moreWe've been going here for lunches and dinners for over 30 years. We enjoy the people and the food. Service and food are great. George is the best. He is the heart of the Warwick Tavern. I'm not a person who enjoys going to bars. The Warwick is different. They have a welcoming, "family atmosphere". George is a wonderful neighborhood icon. The Warwick is the best place fir lynch or dinner and day...
Read moreBeing going here every Sunday after golf for 20 years!!! Love the place. Family owned. Fantastic food. Great people. We've golfed at the same course, right around the corner, for all those years. Many times we've talked about changing to a different course much farther away. But then we say, but we won't be able to go to the Warwick. Nevermind!...
