I highly suggest reading the reviews before coming to this salon for any wig appointment.

My mom is battling cancer and finding out we were eligible for a free wig through the "wigs and wishes" foundation was a weight off of our shoulders and one less thing we had to stress about. This salon is (what feels like) the most recommended place for patients in our area. I wish I did my research before making an appointment. I get it- we're not the first people to come through the doors for a free wig. We aren't the first people affected by this horrible disease. But you would think every single person would be treated kindly when coming through the doors. It was not a warm and welcoming environment whatsoever. I was emotional from the second we walked in and felt completely uncomfortable the entire time. We sat on the couches in the middle of the salon for 15 minutes after our appointment was supposed to start. Martino did not introduce himself or ask my mom or I our names. The majority of our appointment was on said couches in the midst of salon chaos where paying clients are all getting their hair done. It was extremely informal, quick, and felt like it was another charity case he got to check off for his day. There was no compassion and he made disrespectful comments to us that were rude and unnecessary.

i have done several keratin treatments before and that was the worst!!!!! I asked them for a treatment that reduces and smoothes the curly hair. Martino's assistant is the one who was working on my hair, she honestly did a great job straightening it! However, after 3 days I washed my hair and WOW as if I made nothing!!!! Literally, i could have done a hair mask at home instead of all this! A $300 dollars service for literally no effect!. I called the salon and thought they would have an answer for what happened, they got back to Martino and all what was said oh you shouldn't expect a smoothed hair with a keratin treatment, and when I argued about this telling them no that's not what you said and my hair is the same as before not even 5% difference, they said that you didn't use a keratin shampoo! Although I used Olaplex shampoo, and everyone knows that its Paraban and sulfate free. Again, they got back to me saying that no you should have used a KERATIN shampoo. I told them no one mentioned that i need a KERATIN shampoo through the whole visit it's not my fault, they were like we have nothing else to say! NEVER make a hair treatment their! It's such a...

I have gone to Martino for more years than I can count. He is the very best. Compassionate, he always makes you feel wonderful. His staff is absolutely awesome. I remember when he started wigs ‘n wishes. I may have been one of the first to donate. In 2016, I was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer and needed a stem cell transplant which the treatments before the procedure would make my hair fall out. Never thinking I would need a wig, I remember telling him my diagnosis. Martin got a wig to match my hair even with the purple streak. I paid nothing for this beautiful wig. He knew how emotional the experience was for me and when he shaved my head he kept me facing away from mirrors. Once he finished and put on my wig he turned me around. It was super emotional for me as it made my cancer real to me. He gave me time before he removed the wig to show me my bald head. He truly helped me get past a very difficult step in my treatment. There are no words to explain how much I care for how he and his salon treat everyone. I know have my own hair which I keep short as I still battle the cancer monster. Love you !!! And your...
