Was here about a year ago quite a few times and the year prior. It was amazing. We stopped in today because we were in the area and remembered how much we loved it. Not sure what happened. The guy that was the owners' son and managed the place wasn't there he was super friendly. Wondering if maybe different owners now? My husband and I each had a ham, egg & cheese bagel with mayo with a side of potatoes with fried onions and 2 coffees. It came to about $21 for a really small plate which was interesting since the potatoes are free when dining in. The potatoes were so dry I absolutely had to put ketchup on them to be eaten. Also, they weren't seasoned so salt was needed my husband forced himself to eat them with the "barely" fried onions. My sandwich was okay although the bagel was supposed to be toasted I couldn't exactly notice. (I have to add for a bagel place there were only 6 different kinds to choose from a LOT of bins were completely empty). Neither of our sandwiches really had any mayo; I took a picture of the inside top part to show that. A big problem while eating was the absolutely disgusting pepper shaker staring me in the face made it really unappetizing to continue to eat, although I did finish. Even though they were really friendly, definitely was disappointed and probably...

The menu selection is surprisingly robust and everything is made fresh from scratch. The quality of the food is top notch and you can get custom orders to meet your dietary needs.
They seem to be perpetually understaffed so service, while polite and attentive can be slow. So if youâre in a rush itâs probably not the place for you. If, however, your content with a slow and relaxed quality meal they are ideal.
Weâve typically done take out, and as expected that is much slower than your fast food style service. Recently we decided to eat in. There is ample seating with a variety of table sizes. It can get a bit cramped when they get backed up and you have a confusing line of people waiting to pick up and people waiting to order and most not knowing which line is which.
The establishment is clean and well lit. Food is served on proper plates with silver wear and served to your table as you wait. We even netted bonus home fries for eating in which we donât usually get with take out.
All in all, itâs a great place with wonderful food. As long as youâre not in a rush, check them out and give them...
Read moreI met up with a friend at Township Bagel & Cafe a couple days ago. My office has ordered catering there for events like Santa and settlements, but I have never actually âdined-inâ before.
When we got there it was empty, but by the time our food was ready, it had filled up nicely.
We had breakfast sandwiches with side of potatoes and it was all very good. I got the egg, turkey sausage, and American cheese sammie on a toasted six grain bagel and there were not one but two sausage patties inside! Do note that the cheese is cooked between the eggs, so if you like it gooey, order extra cheese. The coffee was spot on and local - Italian Market Reserve from Anthonyâs in Philly.
The service was friendly and helpful. There was plenty of room to sit and relax.
This is a great place to grab a bite to eat - the menu is extensive for breakfast and lunchtime sandwiches. I can also attest that they are great for catering. Definitely recommend trying them if you are in the Washington Township...
