The Staff Communicates Very Poorly With Each Other & Residents. I Called Before Going Up To The Pool & Was Given The Time Of 11:30 For The Pool Opening. At 11:15 I Went To The Rec Rang The Buzzer & Again Was Given A Time Of 11:30 For The Pool. I Literally Live 2 Minutes Walking Distance So I Went Home & Waited. I Walked Back Up To The Pool At 11:35 I Rang The Buzzer & The Same Voice That Told Me 11:30 Told Me To Walk Around The Building & The Pool Entrance Was On The Left. I Walked To The Pool Entrance & An Employee At The Pool Said The Pool Opened At 12. I Walked Back Around To The Front & At This Point Iām Irritated Af. Itās Almost 100 Degrees Outside & All Wanna Do Is Cool Down & Swim. I Rang The Buzzer Yet Again & Was Buzzed Into The Building. I Donāt Know If This Lady Was Head Of Staff Or What But I Explained To Her That I Was Told A Few Times That The Pool Opened At 11:30. She Was Like Who Told You That. I Told Her Whoever Answered The Doorbell & Whoever Answered The Phone Told Me 11:30. She Was Like Well We Open At 12. I No Longer Care To Entertain What Anyone Was Saying Anymore & I Walked Off. They Need To Get It Together. Itās Too Hot To Be Dealing With People That Dont Know What Time Theyāre Supposed...

The response has been overwhelming with cars parked on Ridge Road for blocks in both directions. There is a strong police presence to assist with traffic when needed. Seniors gather with folding chairs, music and coolers to enjoy the wooded surroundings. Truly a hidden surprise with great support. The kids and...

We love the pool set up (zero entry, mature trees, water buckets). The staff is friendly and helpful.
I would have given 5 stars if not for the annoying (and seemingly unnecessary) 15 minute breaks every hour where everyone has to exit the pool. DCPR should staff the pool sufficiently so that families can have uninterrupted time in the water. Also, on at least 2 occasions it seems that the pool was closed because the staff was tired of being there (one time I heard the guards say "someone threw up in the pool" but no one could show any of the parents where the vomit was and we think it...
