Having to call the Church to ask for a quote to rent the banquet hall to give my children a graduation celebration the receptionist tone in her voice was not pleasing at all, then when returning the phone call to ask for more details she was acting like I didn't need the detail information. When someone call for information for services that the church provides it shouldn't matter if you are a church member or not, it's all about conduting business. Think about how you carry your self over the phone when conducting business that will benefit you and also the customer.
