This store has super cute stuff on Depop where I often buy off of. It’s a fun app for buying and selling, and often bargaining - as most items are resale! I sent the depop page a few offers on multiple items. After a few back and forth offers/ counteroffers on a top I got a message back basically saying: * if you can’t afford it- move on * this isn’t from the bins (referring to goodwill bins) and adding “not that I shop there anyway” Which is fair- If it’s put in the depop bio that the prices are set, buyers often respect that. The energy behind the whole thing was very demeaning and snooty (let’s not look down on people buying secondhand!). People shop resale not only to find vintage items- but also YES bc they’re looking for a bargain. For reasons unknown I was supposed to know that this depop store was connected to a consignment shop, that the owner only gets a fraction of the profits, and that these items didn’t come from bins, and they don’t like negotiating prices- even though they also sent me offers on items I had “liked”. I did buy my item at the price listed- out of respect for the owner of the store. But to the person I spoke to over depop- I hope the owner sees this and how you treat customers, or people in general that DO buy from bins, that DO “bargain,” a word you seem to be confounded by. People are lacking empathy and basic human interaction skills more and more- especially over keyboards.

Found the most fantastic gem right in the middle of the town of Washington, NJ in Warren County! This boutique has lovely Designer / High End clothing, shoes, jewelry & accessories without the high end price. You can see that each piece is carefully selected by Paige with her customers in mind.
