Stopped in at noon on the Monday. It was not busy at all. I absolutely love street tacos and was dying to try the place. The service was fast and really friendly. The atmosphere is just okay, but complemented with Mexican music videos on TV. The menu has a wide variety of Mexican favorites. The prices are very reasonable. I ordered the tacos receta 5 Brothers, which is steak, jalapeno and onion. 5 tacos came on a single corn tortilla each, extremely flavorful and authentic. The tacos were appropriately filled with meat. The steak was alright, as I expected it to taste. $12 for the plate, not bad. Two delicious salsas were offered on the side. I'm a sucker for good salsa with my tacos. I would have preferred something a little spicier, but both were quite flavorful. They were Mexican sodas and other wide range of soda selection, including canned horchata. I had a great experience and will definitely be back to try other menu items. Highly recommended if you like it authentic.

I went for an order of tacos. I requested steak tacos with no onions, lettuce, tomato, some cheese, and some sliced avocado even if I have to pay extra. This is what I got and was charged $26 for. I guess I was supposed to pay my money to chop my own veggies. F-me and a properly prepared taco. I don’t recommend this place. I could get past the salty beef, but this is horrible. This place can only be described as garbage. There are other Mexican restaurants in the area and they are all a lot better than this. This is a hard pass, especially if they don’t do better. The beef was so salty. My time crunch made this my only meal until 9pm. I basically just gave my money to these people for digestion issues because of the salt. Washington needs to do better. I’ve never seen so many restaurants with terrible food in such a small area. Thank goodness for a couple of the pizzerias in the town.

We were driving back from a holiday trip from Bethlehem, Pa. to NJ and took the scenic route with a stop to 5 Brothers in Washington. What a great discovery. The birria tacos with consommé were excellent. The Caldo de Rez or beef stew is hearty on a cold night and enough for a meal. There are also homemade desserts such as flan and tres leches cake. Friendly service. Real authentic Mexican food and hospitality and good prices. The horchata is a must.

If you’re looking for authentic, mouthwatering authentic Mexican cuisine, look no further than 5 Brothers Taqueria! This place is a gem, serving up some of the most flavorful and delicious food you’ll ever taste.

The menu has something special for everyone, but my personal favorites are the Birria Tacos and the Steak Tostadas. The Birria Tacos are packed with tender, juicy meat, perfectly seasoned, and accompanied by a rich, savory consommé that takes the experience to the next level. And the Steak Tostadas? Absolute perfection! The crispy tostada base is topped with a layer of refried beans, tender steak, fresh veggies, crema, cheese and just the right amount of seasoning, creating a perfect balance of flavors and textures in every bite.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service is always top-notch. It’s clear that the team at 5 Brothers Taqueria puts their heart into every dish they serve. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, you’re in for a treat.

If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and make a trip to 5 Brothers Taqueria. It’s my go-to spot, and I guarantee it’ll...

Such a disappointing experience today. I recently discovered this restaurant and was so excited since I love Mexican style tacos. I was excited to bring my friend and everything was good until I paid. I was overcharged. When I spoke to them about it, they didn't want to give me my money back, claiming I was charged correctly. When I told them what the prices advertised were, I was told that the menus do not list the correct prices and they charge more. I told them that is something they should tell the customers at the beginning. Only got two dollars back as I didn't want to keep arguing (spanish is not my dominant language and they didn't speak english). Paying $4 for a bottle of Shoprite brand water is ridiculous, especially when the menu very clearly stated it was $2. I was also charged incorrectly for the tacos and didn't even get the taxes back. I guess I won't be going back since it doesn't seem they have honest business practices. The service was never great but I never...
