Juanitos Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Washington

We went there at about 11:30 to place a takeout order. There was nobody else eating there (seats about 50) and only one other person came by to pickup while we were waiting.

The woman working there was not friendly at all. I asked what's in a quesadilla. She told me anything I want. Not really the kind of answer I was looking for. I not very familiar with Mexican food and I'm a picky eater, so I was looking for details.

We ordered and got our food quick enough. When it was time to pay, I said I had a coupon and held out a page I printed from their website. She looked at it like it was radioactive and said, "which one?" Well, there were only three coupons on the page and one was for the lunch specials we ordered, so...duh.

We got the food home. It was packed nicely and looked good. It was tasty and the free nachos and salsa was a nice touch. I think the portions were a little small compared to other places, like the Mexican place in Alpha.

Overall, not bad, but it would have been a lot better of the lady were more friendly to her first...

Food was good but hosting was terrible, as soon as I walked in the lady asked what we wanted but she she said it just like that "what do yo want?" When we finished eating she asked us if we wanted anything else , clearly with the attitude she had , I should have not stay there from such "warm" welcoming to begin with but I said no , she just throw the check at the table and said "have a good day" as she walked away . Mean while she treated others with less attitude. Maybe because I was in my working clothing who knows, maybe she was having a bad day , maybe she didn't wanna be there , who knows . I don't wish any business to go bad or even close down but hopefully they read this and take it as an improvement for other customers. Will I come back to this place? Absolutely not . I do wish...

I have been coming to Juanito’s for a while now! One thing that generally annoys me is that when I mention my allergy, they don’t seem to understand what that entails. I have to explain how cooking something on the same grill could trigger a reaction. I am always prepared if some tonight was to happen. Their food is pretty good. I usually always get their carne asada (as that dish in general is a go to anywhere), and unfortunately it’s usually super dry and chewy. The flavors are for sure all there. I do really like their guacamole. For dessert, the fried ice cream is a bit of a let down. You can skip on that one. I suggest anyone go try their food as it is very yummy. Support...
