Read moreI bought a pair of earrings for my wife a couple years ago for Christmas. Was told by one of the employees the earrings were white gold with 1/4 carrot diamond chip in them. Unfortunately my wife lost one of them. A couple days ago I took the one earring I had left (along with other gold jewelry) to a pawn shop. The employee of the pawn shop did not take the earring saying it was just sterling silver and was not even a real diamond. I paid $90 for these at the jewelry store.
