One star given due to Google requirement, not because it’s warranted. The kindest words I could use to describe the owner, this establishment and my overall experience are: HOT MESS. I purchased a refrigerator and stove at a price agreed upon with the sales associate at the store. Upon delivery and installation, I discovered the hot burner indicator on the stove was faulty. I also discovered issues with the refrigerator: the water line was leaking, the display panel that controls the temperature was haywire and the refrigerator portion was freezing all of my food. I contacted the establishment for repair assistance. I was told someone would come to investigate, in what I assumed would be a timely manner. My mistake. I had to call daily to request assistance, meanwhile, I can’t store perishable food as the refrigerator is freezing everything. My wife reached out on the ninth day of no action to speak with the owner. This individual yelled at my wife, accused her of fraud, stated she was ‘ruining his day’ and then advised her that he would not deal with this situation and hung up the phone. She was never granted an audience to articulate our concerns and suggest how we could work together to remedy this situation. Thankfully, the repair mechanic reached out shortly after the OWNER treated my wife with lack of professionalism or courtesy and stated he would come to investigate the issues we’d identified. The tech made some adjustments to both the stove and the refrigerator. To be fair, he did state that we could contact him should issues continue. And continue they did. The hot burner indicator only works on half the stove. The refrigerator is now keeping food at temperatures unsafe for consumption. And the display panel continues to reflect inaccurate information. The tech was contacted and asked to return to the house to rectify this. He stated he would come back on Monday, however, I’d scheduled several appointments that were no call, no show previously. The owner was subsequently contacted and at that point yelled at me, informed me that I committed fraud (my wife and I are still trying to understand this part of the rant) and that I was calling him on his day off, at which point I reminded him that his phone number is listed as the contact number for the store and the online hours indicate the store is open. I advised the owner that I had a receipt with a 90 day warranty and that I wanted to return the appliances. This individual advised me that he would not retrieve his appliances and I was to bring them to his store if I wanted a refund. I had paid extra for delivery with the purchase of the appliances. He continued to rant and yell and at that point, I ended the conversation. Aside from the owners childish and unprofessional behavior, I have legitimate health and safety concerns to be addressed. My 6 year old son is an insulin dependent type 1 diabetic and the temperature fluctuations and inaccuracies in the refrigerator space make insulin storage unsafe. HUGE issue right there. And I specifically chose a stove with a hot burner indicator due to the fact that I have 2 small children. I’m appalled and disgusted with my entire experience with this shop and the owner. I had thought I found a mom and pop shop to do business with - and I suppose I did, if mom is Joan Crawford and pop is John MCEnroe. Moral of the story - take your business ANYWHERE else and save yourself the headache...
Read moreThis place is a big rip off. I understand the items are used but that is why there is a 90 day warranty. It will be a year next month and Rose continues to give us the run around. I have texts that marks the refrigerator is under warranty and continues to fight us on it. When I went up to store her toned changed and agreed it was a miscommunication. She agreed to have Mo fix the issue under the warranty policy. She let us know that he is her only technician and it will be a while. It's now December and this agreement was made in June. I respected the time and understood that things are different and takes longer to get things done. When I finally have Mo to come out and fix my fridge with another issue that I paid out of pocket, he informed me that Rose had no clue who we are and rejected the warranty repair. Of course I called and no answer and called from a different number and she answered and she knew who I was immediately. She puts me on hold for 10 minutes and answered another call because I was at work. Called her back on that number and sent me straight to VM. Now I'll have to payout of pocket for the repair and will be filing a lawsuit. The technician Mo also informed me that he doesn't do work with her because she doesn't pay and gives him the run around. Read moreThis has to be the worst experience I’ve had. I bought a dryer and within one month it stopped working. So I called them and it took about two weeks of phone tag and the guy finally shows up and does a quick oh I know what’s wrong thing and it works for about three days. Sooooooo I call again and they act like I’m bothering them when I paid good money for the damn dryer. After the wife almost killing me and my son not having clothes since the dryer dies I went to them and just asked for a replacement. So I get the replacement and within one day that one dies. 👍. So my wife flips monkey butt and goes over there and says you are gonna make this right. So they assured her that the one we brought back works so out of desperation for a working dryer we agreed to another switch. Got it home and within I say two weeks that one dies. 🤬. So I called another company that my mother deals with for repairs and they came out and told us that the bypassed a safety switch that regulates the amount of heat the heater uses and wired it that the safety system doesn’t respond to extreme heat from the heater and burned it out. If the heater had burned out by over heating the guy told me that with the combination of the lint and electricity my family could have been in a burning house because of incompetence and greed.
