7/31/23 This place is a Jem in the rough. When we walked into the place, I had a sudden urge to get the heck out of this place. The ambience of the place was a bit troublesome. EVERYTHING was mismatched, the booth seats were torn, there were extension cords running across the walls, the exit fan and air conditioner has extensive black dust on them and the front door would not shut on its own. But, I was convinced to try it, so I did. I ordered the hungry women’s special ( two eggs, home fries, coffee, 2 French toast, and three medium sized sausages) $10.00. My husband ordered (large stack of blueberry pancakes, loaded 3 egg omelette , home fries, sausage, and coffee). The meal was one of the best breakfasts that I have ever had. My eggs were cooked perfectly. The French toast was like butter!! AMAZING đŸ€©. I was in heaven. My husband had no complaints. He enjoyed all of his breakfast and it was filling. We also noticed a constant stream of customers ordering and picking up their takeout. I used to have brunch every other weekend @ the Lakewood diner in Waterbury, but as a regular customer, they couldn’t ever get my order right. The cook here got my order perfect on the first time. I definitely will be going to this small family diner as often as I can. I looovvvveeeeded the food 😊. I am the pickiest eater ever and they reeled me in with the tasty brunch.

10/21/23- Fourth visit with family, same Great results....

The service was extremely lovely, great people! They were attentive and very sweet and the food was amazing. The atmosphere was great too, its simply a small place. Very cozy. It was quiet too, no loud music which I always appreciate. No pictures this time but my boyfriend and I practically cleaned our plates 😂 The food is extremely affordable for A GOOD AMOUNT. I dont want to say for a huge amount because portion sizes are different for everyone but for me it was a lot. But I ordered one plate, my boyfriend ordered two and it came to around 30 dollars. Very well pleased! Also, my boyfriend said they had the best corn beef hash he's had in a while. They also had a whole menu side dedicated to Spanish cuisine, so I'm interested in visiting...

I'll admit the first time I stepped inside, I thought to myself "oh dear", but I was hungry and my buddy was taking care of the bill at the time, so it was cool. I had sausage, egg, and cheese on a roll. Nothing fancy, but man did it surpass my expectations. I mean, the place could visually be more appealing, but in terms of actual food they're stellar. After my first visit, I've brought many people here on several occasions and each time has been delightful. The staff is friendly and their spinach Benedict is truly delicious. If you're from the area and are considering going in, but are unsure, all I can say is, step inside ...

The food here is delicious. It was dead when we went on a Saturday afternoon. Not sure why. It’s definitely not the fanciest place- mismatched worn out decor, but I don’t think that should matter. The portions are large, well seasoned, and fresh. I had salmon and rice with tostones. Husband had an omelet which he enjoyed, and he’s usually fussy with those. My daughter loved her burger. Everything was a great price too. I think the omelet with sides was like $10 and change. I am looking forward to coming back and trying the other dishes!

It’s a no for me. The omelette was terrible and had a real spongy taste. The homefries taste as sad as they looked. Like they boiled and served them. Breakfast is not there forte so I will not be returning. I couldn’t made my own omelette & potatoes and it would’ve taste better. It’s really shabby on the outside so I thought the food is going to be good AF! Wrong 😑 so so wrong. I wouldn’t recommend getting breakfast here, try something else it’s not there specialty
