The sheer amount of History and actual high-grade fine art packed into this store in actually unbelievable. Many of the pieces are so rare and historic in nature that you'd never see them in any normal antique store- which makes visiting here an experience more like visiting a museum or a gallery- truly incredible. However, if they're going to focus on fine art and history they should do so... There isn't any clear separation between these high profile gallery worthy pieces and the regular antiques- and it appears that they unfortunately don't know how to appraise the latter. From personal experience appraising antiques throughout New England, the lower-tier items in this shop are easily 300-400% overpriced.
