Very bad last experience. I thought they had gone above and beyond to fix the situation but honestly I'm pretty sure they tricked me. They RUINED my headset that they took 45ish days to "repair" IT WAS LITERALLY RIPPED UP AND BATTERED. They agreed to replace it completely with a brand new one for the original agreed upon repair price. Unfortunately the headset they gave me is definitely not a brand new one. Only appeared to be when they showed it to me. TRICKED!
UPDATE - Store employee contacted me after review. The headset they replaced mine with was purchased on Ebay. Condition was listed as NEW- OTHER - employee showed this to me. For those of you that don't know, like Sidebarr Technologies, this doesn't necessarily mean NEW. My $180 headset was replaced with a piece of junk Ebay one they purchased for $50. (There were others they could have purchased on Ebay for slightly more that were advertised as NEW) The replacement fell apart quickly and had issues with sound quality. They did try to refund me my $40 I paid for original repair, which I declined to accept. I did request my original headset back. GUESS WHAT? IT DOESN'T EVEN WORK! Read moreI've taken my computer to Sidebarr before for repairs and was very happy with the service. Today, my smartphone wasn't charging after being on the charger for several hours. My son said the port might be dirty and to have it cleaned. I had bought the phone a few years back from Verizon so I took it to their store. The salesperson there told me the battery was "bad" without even looking at it and then said it was probably time for an upgrade and asked me if I wanted to look at their new phones. I asked if it might be because the port was dirty and the salesperson said he was sure it wasn't . It seemed kind of fishy to me so I thanked him for his time and left. Read moreI spoke with Kyle from Sidebarr in Waterloo IL. I asked him if it was possible to update my old processor with Windows 10 Pro and add more RAM. He was very encouraging and asked me to bring it in and said they would check it out. I said if you’re able to do fix it that would be great, go ahead and do it. I dropped off the computer 10:00-10:30. Kyle called at 3:30p.m. the same day and said it was done. I was shocked but happy, it’s been great!
