Waterloo Cinema — Local services in Waterloo

Watched a movie here recently. I have been before they remodeled. It was ok then and had good prices. The new theatre seats are awesome. It's like sitting in a big comfy overstuffed plush chair. Plenty of leg and arm room. The chairs would be comfy for even big and tall people. Actually has the best seats I've ever sat in at a theatre and that includes a classy cinema bistro that serves wine and food at your seat.

Great theater for the money! Food is good and not overpriced. The lobby doesn't seem to be run down at all and was pretty up to date w/ new tech, etc. The theater seats are very roomy and comfortable, but don't recline which wasn't a big deal to me. The only knock I had was that the sound volume was pretty low compared to other bigger theaters. I'm thinking that is to cut down on sound travel from adjacent shows, because we could definitely hear the movie going on next to us. Overall great place for the money, just had a slight issue...

I am so glad they renovated! The new chairs are like sitting in your recliner at home. They seem to be investing a good chunk of money back into the building and it will pay off. We go to the movies once every two weeks or so and the updates won us over. They now also carry food. It's heavy snacks/bar food but it's good! We also really appreciate that they have a rewards program. We get free popcorn every couple of times we go and that adds up. You're doing great...
