Burger King — Restaurant in Waterloo

Went thru drive up to place.orser use Ng coupons. When got to window there was an extra soda on our order. The young lady at the window did not want to take it back and as we found out with good reason. She needed to have her manager credit the order . The manager(one nasty individual) flew to window, was cussed Ng up a storm and when I tried to explain he slammed the window shut off n my face. All the employees back against walls while this man proceeded with his tyraid. After he left window and went to back I could still hear him yelling and screaming in the back. The poor girl was almost in tears and I apologized to her for causing a problem as I was just trying to be honest àbout the soda. With managers that nasty no wonder eneryone is short of help. I would have walked off the job with that attitude. No excuse for the manager treating employees like that and no excuse for that kind of behavior especially where customers can witness it. Was in a hurry and there were only 2 cars in the drive through so I stopped to get dinner. Ordered, then waited in line for almost 10 minutes. When I got to the window I paid, then they asked me what my order was. I told them the chicken sandwich meal and they told me they're holding on the chicken and I needed to pull forward.... so after being in this drive through for almost 20 minutes by now, this guy comes out with an order that isn't mine. So I waited again for another 5 minutes or so and they brought it out. Everything was hot and delicious but for some reason they put a handful of buffalo sauce in the bag... that was just confusing... over all (as an ex- McDonald's manager) was not a very great experience and just seems like they're not very organized. I hope it was...

Not that I dislike BK, or this particular BK. The service and restaurant were fine. We tried an "Impossible" Whopper & cheese tots. Cheese tots were just ok...seemed a little tough and not very cheesey. The "Impossible" Whopper was VERY underwhelming. The texture is pretty close, but it really lacks in the flavor department. The edges that charred tasted burnt & bitter, not grilled. It's a lot of hype. I suppose someone who doesn't want to eat animals might think it's ok, but what's the point? If you want something that tastes like meat, have meat. Anyway...not close enough in my books to make me switch. Plus, it only saves 30 calories over a regular Whopper. It just wasn't "WOW" so, been there & done that...never need to...
