Walked in and was greeted quickly, hence the stars given. I asked several questions and asked for quotes on a few things. Was quoted roughly $700 for the $500 stereo I picked, I asked if that was including everything w/installation, and was told yes. They scheduled me the following week, I showed up and waited about 2 hours for it to be installed. No big deal. When it came time to pay i was given a total of $950ish, so I wasn't expecting a $200+ difference than what I was originally quoted- but went along with it, because it's obvious communication wasn't great here. (I also asked for a rear view camera installed during my initial visit) so I first assumed that was the price increase- but nope they didn't put the camera on the order when I originally came in and asked for it, so I would have to schedule another time to come in and install the camera. I also wasn't told until after the installation that they were currently out of stock of the stereo I ordered, so they upgraded it to $50 more stereo at "no charge" -but I didn't want that stereo, I liked the one I picked out and ordered, that's why I ordered it. Its been 6 months and I still hate the stereo they put in my car. I don't think a company should just assume someone would like the 'slightly more expensive' system. Read moreWent there to get a price on a single sub install for my 2018 Tahoe. I have the factory bose system that sounds okay but it could use a little more bass, that's all I was looking for. My first visit was really good, I talked with an older gentleman, he gave me pricing and we set up an appointment date.
I showed up for the appointment and dropped the vehicle off, got a call 2 hours later that my bill was going to be $300.00 more because they quoted a wrong part. I told him that wasn't in my budget and he said they will remove everything so far and put it back to stock.
I'm my line of business I do quotes in excess of $600,000 for repairs on big cranes and earth moving equipment. If I'm off by any amount, that's my fault and I end up eating the cost because that's not the customers fault. They went to a professional for a quote to do the job correctly as did I.
I understand not wanting to lose money based on an employees mistake, but now they lost the whole job, got a negative review and lost a potential sale down the road, and my friends and family who are going to hear this story when they ask to hear my new sound system and I have to explain why I don't have it.

I have a DS18 15" with a AMP pushing 2500 RMS into this single speaker and my radio volume goes to 62. I asked them to tune it so I can get the best sound from this 15" speaker. When done I paid $60 and got in the car with my friend. At volume 62 my friend and I can hear each other just fine. The bass was just a little boom. When I asked what happen to the bass they said it was done correctly so I don't over heat the system and no clipping.
