The date i ordered food from this tacobell location was 2/5/22 and my order number is 315960. Although this time i was only missing 1 item out of 5 and notice i said "this time" .
Anyhow, i went through the drive through as walk in's for all fast food restaurants are mostly closed due to covid-19. I told "brooke" over the ordering com that i wanted 3x hard shell beef tacos, 3x chipotle ranch grilled chicken burrito, a crunch wrap supreme, a chicken quesadilla and lastly a med baja blast drink. She repeated my order correctly so i drove to the window without looking at the display.
I ended up paying for 1x hard shell, 1x chipotle ranch grilled chicken burrito, 1x crunchwrap, 1x chicken quesadilla, and 1x med drink, which was completely wrong but i was okay since i had already paid for it. Now here's the issue; aside from not getting my order correctly with 8 items, i now have 5 items that i paid for but there was no chipotle ranch grilled chicken burrito to be found within my order. This furiated me as it almost always happens at this exact tacobell location. To be honest, out of 10 times ordering from this location, 2:10 (twice); is the ratio that they get your order right.
Now a little words of encouragement to all the tacobell employees at 1730 US-51 N, Wausau, WI 54401, store: 031835:
Everyone knows that fast food restaurants are not a career, and they are never permanent. Nothing is great about it either, the pay, the benefits, the hours, and management up. It is also a stressful work environment aside from being physical and mentally draining. However, with that said, absolutely no body is forcing you to work there and if you don't have the decently to get the basics right, then please GTFO and stop fawking up customers orders on purpose. Stop it with your drugs, your monkeying around, your tiktok videos during work hours and do the job that you are being paid for. And ya'll want $15.00 hr? LOL, SMFH....
Why didn't i go back or call? I was already on hwy 51 heading home and do you not realize the price of gas nowadays? As for calling i did and i was offered a coupon, which i highly doubt tacobell will send, since I've never received one each time i call. I figure they take down your information and just...
Read moreNight staff seems nice, but at the same time, condescending. That's not to mention the guy (noticeably) high on meth making tacos in back either.
Had my first bad experience there and they've convinced me that this will be my experience with them moving forward.
Ordered the same thing I order every trip to this location; a steak quesarito. I take my first bite and notice the flavor is a bit off. No steak. I get through half of it to be sure and still no steak. Figuring it was on error due to high volume of customers coming through their drive-thru I politely went inside and explained my observations. Several minutes later when my new one was finished they took my original purchase which I had brought in with me. All seemed well as I was departing until I was flagged down. I was told that there was indeed steak in my original item. I looked over to see it unwrapped with what appeared to be a fraction of an ounce of steak in a small pile at the opposite end I started eating on.
I felt insulted about what they had just tried passing off as correct. This was further reinforced as it was confirmed by an employee that that was the standard amount. Apparently we're paying $4+ for a bunch of tortilla, rice, cheese, and a small tablespoon of shredded steak.
I've eaten this thing a hundred times and have never not had steak in my entire wrap. What I've been eating on a near daily basis has never been served to me in this state, yet this employee tells me that this is what I should be expecting of them.
I'm not sure if this is a new portion size for the item, but I'm not going to waste my money finding out. Not coming back here. Not recommending it. Urging others to do the same. They tried to cheat me out on an already overpriced item and insulted my...
Read moreI come here quite often as I work nearby, but I think today's gonna be my last time. I want to start by saying that the employees are always very polite and upbeat, and you can see that everybody is working hard, but clearly they need help. They're so busy and in a rush, I don't think I've ever received an order that didn't have some mistake, and getting that fixed is going to mean standing at the counter for 10+ minutes until they have a moment to address customers again.
This might be a bit nit picky, but today my order got submitted twice by mistake. I've worked several fast food jobs myself, and whenever something like that happened we would always confirm with the customer before making the food because that's a pretty obvious accident. Instead they just made both identical orders, leaving me with way more food than I wanted to buy when a simple question would have straightened things out. Hopefully whoever is running the place starts prioritizing proper staffing over saving some money on...
