They called me today to remove my account, and I remembered that I never wrote the review. So here it goes. The reasons why I left this practice: Greedy. I felt like I was upsold. Right after removing my tooth the doctor suggested to purchase an expensive 3D X-ray that was $300- to get started with my implant job. My current doctor laughed when I told her this, as I didn’t even have my jaw bone restored for putting an implant, she said it would take up to about 2 years. Also he said I was in need for a special expensive X-ray because “all my teeth have micro cracks”. The girls at reception would show me their new Invisalign and advertise it to the point when it was uncomfortable for me to hear. I came with the tooth pain, other doctors were saying I needed a root canal, but doctor Gerskowitz said it was infection and advised to put an inlay - which btw cost as a crown. At this moment I’m scheduled to do a root canal, as that tooth never stopped hurting me, so I wasted $500 on that. Doctor Gerskowitz also removed one of my teeth. Right after procedure I told them that the numbing was wearing off and asked for another shot. They told me to take ibuprofen - which started to give effect just in 2 hours. I can’t describe you through what Awful pain I went through that night, I literally felt everything! I was crying in the car the whole way home! I wouldn’t probably write this review if not because one accident that was the last drop and the reason why I will never go back to this office: one of the days I was late for the tooth cleaning because of the terrible rain that caused an accident on the road, which made me stop in traffic. I messaged one of the reception girls that was communicating with me via text, that I’m sorry and I need to postpone it. 2 hours later they called me and let me know that they are charging me $100(! Beware), then she would ARGUE with me for this money for 10 minutes when I tried to explain. The funny thing is they mischarged me for a procedure $100 a few days before, so she said they not gonna give me that money back!!! Lol and it was the first appointment I ever missed or been late to with them. That’s the way you treat your patients bravo! Although another receptionist called me back when she was back from her vacation and apologized for that and gave me my money back. I was not treaded like that ever before! P.S I love my new doctor, and as they told me today on the call “good luck with your new doctor” lol -...
Read moreI have been going to this office for years and was very happy with their service up until now. I work in a field were I am sometimes exposed to Covid. I made an appointment when I knew I was going to be off for three days, however I had to work mandatory the day before my appointment ( nature of the job). Well even though I took all precautions, I was exposed to someone with Covid during my night shift. After work I went home and went to sleep. When I woke up to get ready for my appointment I did not feel well. I called to cancel my appointment as a precaution two hours before it was scheduled. I told the girl why I was canceling and she told me that if I canceled I would have to pay a cancellation fee. I told her, so I should just go in to avoid the fee? And she said yes! The fact that they were willing to take me in knowing that I was exposed to Covid, in order to avoid the fee is enough for me to leave this office. I rather go somewhere that cares about their patients and not money. Can you imagine if I would have went just so I don’t have to pay the fee? How many people I could have infected? why would you implement a cancellation policy in this time of a pandemic? This virus is still unknown thus, causing the CDC to change their recommendations periodically. I’m blessed to be able to afford to pay a cancellation fee but, what about those individuals who can’t? They are forced to come in sick and infect others?Unbelievable!...
Read moreDon't go to this dentist. They billed my insurance for services not rendered. I went in for a teeth pain, one of which was caused by trauma from dental cleaning. They took xray and told me there isn't an infection. They billed my insurance for palliative treatment to alleviate my dental pain. Nothing was done to help with my pain. They didn't even apply topical anesthetic. When I called to have them explain this claim on my insurance, they just said that's the code we use even though there was no procedure performed to help with my pain. Also during my cleaning, not only was my mouth sore from the trauma caused by their hygienist, they billed my insurance for dental hygiene instructions. Really like I need to know how to brush my teeth, floss and use mouth wash. They will bill for every little thing they think the insurance will pay for even if they did not provide the services. They are hoping people will not look at their insurance claims and won't notice. Well I did notice, and when I called to have them fix it, they refused. Their services are overpriced to begin with, on top of that they want to milk your insurance for every penny. They are unethical. I don't reccomend this place to anyone unless you have...
