I just had ultrasound and CT Scan at Wayne Radiology. I was fine for ultrasound but dreading and terrified of CT even tho CY is nothing like MRI which I CANNOT DO. I got both done. Yay. I want to commend the entire staff. An experience I was terrified about was actually pleasant. The two women who did the CT Scan were friendly, knowledgeable, and very warm — just great. Next up was the CT scan. I was shaking, scared, very nervous. Then I met Marie or Maria (my apologies - again I was really nervous). She was in charge, reassuring, very caring. I could tell that she k ew how I nervous I was. She didn’t rush me at all. She told me exactly what to expect and then she said “you’ll be fine. I promise. I will get you through this.” Now I was no longer rooting for myself to get through this but rather for Marie (or Maria, again my apologies) to get me thru it, knowing that of anyone had a chance it was her. My point, I trusted her. And I did it. If you need to get a scan of any kind and you are nervous or, as in my case, absolutely tarried, go to Wayne Radiology Center. It wasn’t just the technicians either. At reception o was greeted with a smile and a pleasant welcoming atmosphere — and this was despite being ten minutes late which no one even mentioned. PS that is not an endorsement to show up late to your scheduled scan. All the people working in the medical field — the technicians? administrators, nurses (of course), they were there for us when the world broke at the start of and all throughout Covid and all those heroes are still there today. NO, no one paid me to say these things, nor am I affiliated in any way with Wayne Radiology Group. Simply, they turned fear and terror into simplicity, ease, warmth, and reassurance and they got me through a test I was certain I couldn’t and probably wouldn’t do. As a patient, I have had my fair share of experiences at various medical facilities. Some have been good, some have been not so good. However, my recent visit to Wayne Radiology Center has left a lasting impression on me. My name is Fernando Badillo and I had to undergo an abdominal scan test at Wayne Radiology Center this morning. From the moment I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The receptionist, Shahera, greeted me with a smile and efficiently guided me through the check-in process. She was polite and patient, even though the waiting room was quite busy. When it was my turn, I was introduced to my radiology tech, Mrs. Samar. She was not only professional but also had a kind and compassionate demeanor. Her expertise and efficiency were commendable, and I could tell that she genuinely cares about her patients.

Wayne Radiology Center truly has a 'patient first' policy across the board. From the receptionist to the radiology techs, everyone was focused on providing the best possible care to the patients. This is something that is often overlooked in the medical field, but it makes all the difference to the patients. I had to take my 82 yr-old father who is blind, hearing impaired and very unstable on his feet for an X-Ray of his shoulder/arm which the doctor had suspected was dislocated. I called every local Radiology Center including the Radiology Dept at Chilton hospital, attempting to find a same day appt for later that afternoon considering it was a Friday and time would be lost due to the weekend. Not one facility in our area (West Milford) was able to accommodate until we contacted the Wayne Radiology Center at 516 Hamburg Tpke which was more than willing to accept a walk-in appt. Upon arrival, the building has a covered off area with wheelchair access and had sufficient parking. The Radiology Center was clean and everyone we interacted with was kind and professional. It was a good experience all around. The intake process for filling out the paperwork was simple and processed quickly by the staff. From our first call with Gaby, the receptionist, regarding our initial inquiry for an appt to meeting her in-person, she was courteous and patient to answer any question we had. From the moment Maria, the X-ray technician, engaged with my father, she was considerate of his limitations and disabilities and took care as she moved him through the various positions to get the best views for the X-ray of his arm/shoulder. She was patient and professional which I appreciated every way in which she interacted very gently with my father. Lastly, the manager, Jefferson was professional and very pleasant to speak to over the phone.
