Took hubby's wedding ring to be sized and repaired (after the piece they added during a previous sizing years ago broke off???). I decided to have engraving added as a surprise for my husband. The repair and engraving took longer than expected. I finally called them, only to be told that oops, they messed up the engraving. So at this point I just want the ring back. Nope, they will have to charge me for the messed up engraving unless they remove it. (REALLY???) Fine, I let them remove the engraving and take the ring after paying for the repair. In their haste to remove the engraving, the ring must have been enlarged when they removed the inside layer of the ring because it slipped off my husband's finger at work and is gone.
