Bagel Stop & Deli — Restaurant in Wayne

You only get one chance to make a great first impression.....so true! I work in the area, looking for a new coffee and bagel place....a young blond girl took my order @ 7:30 am ...a bagel (plain) which was $1 and a small coffee which is $1.80...total of $2.80....she charges me $3.80? I explain that 1.80+1.00=$2.80.....she looked through me like a politician....I tried to explain that my change was incorrect but she would not give an inch! I said since you changed me for a buttered bagel, please butter my bagel....I got the rolling of the eyes......the other guy behind the counter buttered the bagel for me and tried to save face....oh, by the way...the coffee was cold.....needless to say, I will not be returning here...a shame because its a convenient location....

New owners over charge. If it happened once or twice it would be an accident. But it has happened to my mother twice, my son, and to me. They also charge a 4% credit card fee. The flat bagels are double the price. When we questioned it. We were asked what the previous owner charged. Since we said the price was double that would mean the former owner charged half of what they do. Ordered four bagels today. Were charged for six. Said something. They gave back the difference. Third time. Three Strikes, they’re out. They’ve seen the last of our family. Today was the last straw. They are located across from WV High School and I’m sure will take advantage of the students. Save your money in the morning, kids, and go to Neil’s instead in...

I’ve grown up with this place and I know it’s changed management over and over. I’ve given them chances over and over as well, but customer service is absolutely horrible. I order the same thing at least 4 times a week and they still cannot get a sandwich right!! I do not know what happen with this place but so disappointing. There is one girl who is absolutely horrible when it comes to customer service, she doesn’t care at all...I do not know how people have not complained!! The gentleman who is the shift manager when he is there, is the absolute best!!! Wish they were...
