I was in Tryon, North Carolina in December ‘24 and I needed an emergency root canal. I found and vetted Carolina Mountain Endodontics in Hendersonville, NC. They couldn’t see me at that location but had another office in Clyde, NC just west of Asheville that could see me the next day. I drove less than an hour and a half from my home to the Clyde office where they welcomed me and promptly put me in with Dr. Jordan, microscopic endodontist and his team. This was my first root canal and it was a flawless and painless procedure. I expected it to be a challenging experience but that was not the case. Dr. Jordan and staff were exemplary and very attentive to my needs and comfort at all times! A pristine and sterile environment and comfortable chair, It was all done in less than 90 minutes! Dr Jordan is a highly talented and a super gentle specialist. Y'all, I cannot say enough good things about literally everyone who works at this office. I had to have a root canal from years and years ago re-treated, and I hadn't even been to a dentist since that first root canal because of a bad experience. The cataloochee dental office in Franklin referred me after having some tooth pain and then taking X-rays. I was nervous AF. From the moment I walked in every single person I interacted with was not only competent, but warm and friendly and made me feel like they saw me as a person. When I told Dr. Ewing about my previous bad experience he was understanding and worked with me to get an option that minimized my anxiety. I only had the consult scheduled for today but they were actually able to fit me in to do the actual work, and it went so much better than I expected. Mandy also was a sweet bean and made sure to keep checking in on me while waiting. First of all getting a root canal at any age is high stress, even at my age of 72. When I arrived for my appointment needless to say it was a stressful moment. When I walked through their office door everything changed and the stress melted away. From the receptionist, dental hygienist and other office personal there was an immediate sense of relief and a feeling I was in the right place. Dr. Kennedy was amazing in his welcoming personality, we talked for a few minutes and I felt his presence was warm and professional. He explained the procedure in a way that I knew I was in the best hands and everything would be ok. The procedure lasted about 45 minutes with No Pain or Discomfort. I listened to the Doctor work with his staff and they were a well oiled operation.
