Food and coffee both fantastic in a small cafe settingđDine in or to go available. Located in a very nice stone building with stylish lighting that blended well in what appeared to be a small medical business Park. Stopped in for a small breakfast and coffee drinks. We had the ham & cheese omlette and spinach mushroom cheese sandwich, a black coffee and a zebra latte. They use only coffee beans from Dynamite Coffee (a roaster out of Black Mountain). They also have almond and soy milk available as non-dairy options. There is a big chalkboard as you walk in with their list of specialty coffee drinks (hot on one side, cold on other) BUT look around to the few other chalk boards in the room too! Two behind the counter listed a couple different ciders available, and another in the dining area listed a Valentine's themed special latte. Their food menus are in a stand before the counter. You decide what you want, walk up to the counter and order. They brought it out to us when it was done. The dining area consists of many small tables and there appeared to also be a seating area on an outside patio facing towards the interstate. Great for grabbing a coffee or a bit solo or a small group, but I probably wouldn't try it with a group of more than 4 people. We also liked that they had a table at the entrance offering a bunch of advertising for local businesses as well as a large business card holder in the foyer. Next door there is also a massage place...have you coffee and go get a...
Read moreSadly, I will not be back until staff works on their attitude (specifically one employee). I understand that everyone has good and bad days but I have never been in there and her not be rude, especially to the elder. Today, an elder man with a cane was outside trying to get another table together so a group of 6 could sit together. The employee came out screaming at him. She could have came and talked just to him and not made a scene outside. She was yelling out the Governors orders- that a party of 6 couldn't sit together, you cannot move the tables, there are signs everywhere. He informed her it states 10 peoples. For one, Governors order does NOT say a group of 6 can't sit together, two there were NO signs about him moving the furniture. I understand business's are trying to follow orders but employees shouldn't be yelling at customers with false information. If that is what the business wants, they need to have signs out regarding it and employees shouldn't be misinforming customers regarding the Governors Order. Iv never seen this employee nice not one time and I eat there regularly, but today- I had enough. Otherwise, food is decent! Employee just needs...
Read moreOn our way back from Asheville, NC we stopped at the Coffee Cup Cafe located right off the interstate. Walking in the facility was quite quaint. The greatest thing about this place was how friendly and courteous the staff was. As we ordered, there were many sandwich choices that were cheap and simple to satisfy one's hunger.
I ordered the ham and cheese sandwich with a strawberry smoothie. Let me tell you, I HIGHLY recommend the smoothie. It was sweet and cleanly represented. Then about 8 minutes later I received my sandwich. It was toasted to perfection on wonderfully crafted sour dough bread. The sauce applied was runny and messy, but I was so interested and in love with the taste, that I didn't notice. This sandwich was absolutely pallet pleasing. You should stop in if you are in the area and looking for a...
