I shop here daily, for years... Every other day up to 5x a week... Not just years, decades now because I'm old at 40 😂 However, I have come into the store with 5 minutes until close and been quick with what I need and checked out within the closing time. MANY times. I don't know if there was a new system implemented, or if the grumpy supervisor was new to this issue, or made the choice with the rushing of the customer service area and frantically pressing buttons; mid-payment, and then passive aggressively delivering the "message" that the systems were automatically shutdown... It was 1058-10:59... I worked at Village Market and a few Apples stores as a "supervisor" about 20 years ago, and the systems were MANUALLY shutdown... (VM and Apple's are owned by the same people.) I've worked at many other retailers, and even the 'Big-Box' store of TSC, in Wellington - yet we still had control over the manual time shutdown of our registers, doors, security systems, etc. I find it hard to believe that the Krakomperger's implemented a system that shuts the registers down before or by 11pm. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doors shouldn't even be locked until closing time and registers not shut off until closing time, or allowing the last customer to check out. That's how it used to be done, and it's SAD if a nationwide chain store can follow small town operation moreso than the small town owned...
Read moreI shop there several times a day since I live four houses down and your assistant manager just told me that I'm like a bad penny that keeps showing up. I will never shop in your store and you can rip up my application because I will not take my customer service and sales skills to a place like yours when you hire such bad people to work for you. I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life and I appreciate if you call me regarding this person that they tell me is named Irene. You just lost a Shopaholic as your customer and shame on you for bad hiring practices. You need people so bad because you have bad management somebody from corporate needs to come in and reform that store. Small town business does not belong in a...
Read moreIf it wasn’t for the decent deli recipes….I’d never go here. 95% of Deli sales are people grabbing lunch….however the lunch items are never done on time, inconsistent week to week, and the service is SO SLOW because the store manager refuses to pay for reliable help or to motivate current staff. Lunch is over before they can get your food into a dang bowl! The 3 good deli workers can’t do it all by themselves and the others are Sloths. For a store that has outrageous prices….you have to have the service to compensate….and they fail miserably in this regard. Desperately need new store management that actually have some clue as to how to...
