I love Vanessa at Madam Chino. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Her classes teach you about sewing basics in a clear, step by step way. While doing so, she teaches you how to begin thinking like a successful sewist, encouraging patience and advise on how to empower individuals to troubleshoot their sewing machine issues.

Vanessa instructs in a way that fosters growth of additional life lessons including patience, positivity, and creativity. She does so all with a reduce, reuse, recycle business model! I always leave her classes in a better mood than when I walked in.

I'm reviewing off of what my partner has shared. Vanessa can do it all, and she's a breath of fresh air to boot. No project is too complicated, and she works with informational consent in all ways. Highly recommend. We have been going to Vennessa for all of our sewing needs for over 6 years, and she's always worth it

Prior to coming to Madam Chino, I had never gone to a seamstress or had alterations done, professionally. That said I had the BEST experience here. Vanessa listened to exactly what I needed; she was extremely timely, responsive and made the whole experience fun! The bridesmaid dress that I had altered, came out perfect.
