Ok I’d like to start off by saying the shop was clean and friendly, however the resident artist scottie, performed a coverup on me. I’ve been tattooed by many artists and this has been by far the most abusive experience I’ve ever had. I have heard rumors of his work getting extremely infected due to poor technique and use of subpar equipment (knock off machine) however I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt and I really needed this coverup to happen. I typically heal up pretty well with in two weeks or so, however it’s been about 3 and a half and I’m still flaking scabbing off as well I’m noticing blowouts through the line work. There are majorly raised areas, and after consulting other artists, turns out they’re scars. I had massive scabs and puss seeping from the tattoo for days, to the point I had to dry heal, which this has also cause me to be even more self conscious than the previous tattoo did. This was the first tattoo experience where I physically went into shock, I’ve sat for 4+hours on other tattoos with out any issues. This tattoo took approximately 2 hours. By far the most painful experience. I would not recommend anything aside from traditional tattoos from this artist.
