This restaurant was on of my favorite places to eat. Not quite sure what happened but for the amount of money spent, the food was less than desirable and the portions were half the size they use to be. My chicken bowl, which use to fill up the styrofoam , (which for 15.98 it should)barely covered the bottom of the container, not to mention that where once crispy juicy chicken strips nestled in the center of the entree, now been replaced by 13 breaded chicken balls the size of the tip of my thumb. The mashed potatoes appeared to be a two ice-cream scooper size topped with a small ration of corn. AND NO GRAVY WHAT-SO-EVER. The supreme nachos to go were pathetic. We were still charged full price although we opted out the beef and the toppings were minimal at best. Our Caesar salads were ok. Over all this was once a restaurant I raved about and looked forward to enjoying a good meal. The restaurant may be expanding but the food portions...
Read moreI haven't been here in years and hit it two nights in a row. The food is fantastic. They have a great beer list. The staff is on it. The only negative was the ravenous lady that sat down next to me and are my food. It started with a French fry, and ended up being all but the half of the sandwich I extracted from my basket before she could defile it. She was like a starving wolf on a carcass. There was catchup and pieces everywhere. She was even moaning while consuming it. Honestly, it was more interesting than things I have seen in our National Parks. I would come back just to watch her feeding habits if I knew she frequented the establishment. In fact, I would bring a film crew. But really, this place is great. Thursday night is $1 tacos from 9 till midnight. Pretty great deal. The chicken Parm sub is fantastic, or what I had of it (pre the...
Read moreThis place does a lot of things right, and the area is lucky to have it. The menu is well written and prices extremely reasonable, two surefire signs of ownership that cares and a chef who knows and loves his work. We had truffles fries, boneless wings, which were almost like fritters, and an excellent shrimp and lobster bisque to start, followed by crab cakes and the hot turkey and gravy plates. I had zero complaints and had to resist the urge to go chat with the chef, wanting to tell him that if one uses lobster leg meat in the bisque it lowers food costs. Thank God I no longer work in the F&B industry, but over the years worked or consulted for 53 different establishments in 14 states and 3 locations outside the US. This place could hold it's own in any market for value, quality and overall experience. Thanks for the awesome sauce. I will be...
