Blimpie — Restaurant in West Haven

We came in with an order for five sandwiches today and Erica was quick to help with our order. She was very friendly, personable and provided excellent customer service. With the dwindling number of blimpie sandwich shops around Salt Lake City we us will definitely be back to this location because of Erica and how well she treated us.

UPDATE:

We were in the area last night and stopped in to get a couple of subs. Erica was there, and yet again she was excellent. The two other gals working behind the counter were personable and great as well. We love coming up here to get sandwiches. If the owner is reading this all those ladies deserve a raise for their hard work and great attitudes. Our drive up here is nearly 50 miles one way, but it's worth it for the quality of the subs and how well we are treated by the crew when we come in.

We really hope they don't ever have to close this location as it's one of the last ones in Utah and I think it's the best of the bunch. If I could give this location more than 5...

I was very excited to discover this restaurant. I had not seen a Blimpie in years. My experience was beyond dissatisfaction. Although the employee was very friendly and took her time making our sandwiches the sandwiches themselves were horrible. The panini machine is not hot enough to actually toast any kind of bread. The cheese, specifically the cheddar, had absolutely no flavor and was more akin to eating wax. I brought these sandwiches home to my family. My 22-year-old daughter would not eat hers. My 17-year-old son ate half of his and threw the rest in the trash and I pushed through my entire sandwich refusing to be wasteful. My wife ate all of her sandwich but did not enjoy it. Needless to say, we will not be back. Additionally, my mom got a salad which was simply shredded lettuce with a bunch of lunch meat cut up and thrown on top of it. The sandwich maker was incredibly nice. He really had a great personality and did an amazing job. The sandwich was great as well. I had forgotten to get my receipt for work reimbursement, and upon calling the convenient store later, the female employee was incredibly kind, and helpful. Because of her I was able to come back the next morning, grab my receipt, and be on with my week. This place may not look aesthetically Utah, but the food and service will...
