Had a defective mini USB 2.0 port (a 83c piece of hardware) on a Blue Yeti Microphone and needed a replacement installed. Jeffrey claimed to have a company policy-wide charge of a "$50 minimum diagnostic fee" for ALL customers PRIOR to the repair. He also claimed that he could "fit the repair cost into the diagnostic fee". This turned out be untrue.
Jeffrey told me he would contact me within the following week. I was not contacted until I eventually called in 2 weeks after. I learned that he had trouble taking apart the microphone so I proceeded to instruct him on how to do so. He then stated he would call me the following day. Two days later, I was called by Jeffrey with yet another repair charge of $40 in addition to the $50 "diagnostic fee". I denied the repair and went to pick up the microphone instead.
Upon arriving to the shop, Jeffrey insisted that this repair could no longer fit inside of the "diagnostic fee"; thus, I essentially paid Jeffrey $50 to take apart the microphone and put it back together. Jeffrey also lost a piece of the microphone and could not locate where he placed it. After attempting to resolve the issue, Jeffrey remained uncooperative and continued to call the Sheriff.
The police arrived and I was then told that I would have to file a civil case to receive compensation for the missing piece. Thanks a lot Jeffrey!
Response to the Owner: Upon my initial pickup, we both acknowledged the missing rubber cover for my microphone; yet, you instructed me to leave by means of a threat to call the sheriff and without any effort to resolve or compensate for my missing property. Pursuing trespass notices on customers you've lost property from isn't a business practice.
You continue to openly display your complete ignorance to the issues and complaints I and many customers before me have stated. Instead of acknowledging your lateness in your service, lack of communication, incompliance, and highly-questionable pricing, you instead belittle the customers' reviews and claim that "you believe the customer is right until..." so and so. The years of you operating your business is not an excuse for your puerile behavior within and outside of your business (as highlighted within your...
Read moreI have a 82 inch Mitsubishi projector/plasma tv, we've had it for a little over 10 years and we have loved it which is why I called Jeff initially to get it looked at! We didn't want to just junk it and upgrade to a flat screen, this tv really is great quality and so worth fixing! I called and at first he had asked me what type of a bulb I bought, I thought we had a gotten a OEM replacement but come to find out it wasn't so I sent it back and ordered a new one! After receiving the new one, my husband plugged it in and the screen was so dark you couldn't even see a picture! So I called Jeff again, he came right out the next day, pulled the bulb and immediately was able to tell what the problems were, he was able to fit the bulb in and give us a picture but it wasn't the best picture we could get so he pulled the whole board and took it home with him to repair back to original specs and had it back to me within 24 hours! He just left my house and all I can say is WOW!!!! I am SO impressed! Our tv hasn't looked this good in years!!!! I am beyond happy with the service and quality that he provided to us! 10 stars, I highly recommend Jeff to anyone looking for a quick and super affordable repair! We will definitely be coming back for any future repairs on any of our...
Read moreOur TV quit turning on, so we brought it for repair. The owner said it would be $40 to diagnose. If he fixes it, then the $40 goes towards the cost of repair. We were charged tax or a fee for using our debit card. I’m not sure which. I do think he needs to advise such. But to me an extra $1 + change isn’t a big deal.
We got told a 24 hr window for notification of diagnosis. He was prompt and did meet that deadline.
However, he quoted $250 to repair the main board. And if that doesn’t work, he would guess the back lights were bad. And that would be extra $375 starting out.
I looked online at the cost in replacing the TV. It was much much cheaper than paying over $500 to fix it. So I chose not to have it repaired and picked it back up. He did say he can recycle the TV for us. But I chose to pick it up, and dispose of it myself. Maybe see if anyone wants it for parts.
I can’t say if he could repair or couldn’t repair the TV. I can say he was nice, a little uncouth is some of his statements made in jest, but knowledgeable. He even spent the time to go over making sure to show us how to adjust the brightness on your TV, below 100%. So you can increase the longevity...
