West Haven Computer Solutions is beyond awesome. I had a digital voice recorder that stopped working, and on a Saturday afternoon I decided to call some businesses to see who could fix it. I probably called 10 businesses before finding West Haven Computer Solutions. To my delight, unlike the other places I called, from the moment Angelo (the owner) picked up the phone he provided the best customer service I could have ever hoped for. He was very accommodating and put my needs before his own. He listened carefully and patiently as I explained the problem to him. In fact his office was closed while I was on the phone with him, but he cancelled his plans and arranged to meet with me immediately to bring him the device. He wasn't after money - during the initial phone call, he told me that if for some reason he’s unable to fix the issue, he wouldn’t charge me anything. Moreover, when the work was done, to my pleasant surprise, he charged me $10 lower than the estimate he gave me when I brought him the device! As he was working on the device, he called me regularly to me update on the work progress and expected completion date, as well as answer questions I had in an unrushed, thoughtful, and empathetic manner. Needless to say, I was happy with his service.

Angelo is very transparent, kind, helpful, soft-spoken, understanding, and trustworthy. He really tried to understand my concerns as a customer and treated my voice recorder as if it were his own. Side point: he works from home, and when I picked up the device I met his son who was playing and hanging out; super-nice kid, which was not surprising considering how wonderful his father is.

I have no complaints whatsoever about the service from West Haven Computer Solutions. In fact, if ever I have the slightest sense that a loved one or friend of mine has an issue with an electronic device, I will wholeheartedly refer them to Angelo. I feel that it’s only a matter of time before his business wins some type of customer satisfaction award - it will be much deserved. I really hope West Haven Computer Solutions become one of those Fortune 500 companies – people like Angelo deserve to belong on that list, because his work defines outstanding product and customer service. It appears to be a home business, but don’t let that fool you into thinking Angelo isn’t a pro. I left my laptop with them after encountering a grinding noise coming from the fan. They couldn’t replicate the issue and were totally fine with handing it back, though during the process of checking the fans they noticed my battery had swollen significantly (I later discovered this was a very common issue with my type of laptop). They gave me recommendations on parts that would work (leaving the choice on what I should get and if I even needed to make the repair ultimately up to me) and had the new battery swapped in quickly after it arrived for a very reasonable price, letting me know to inform them of the grinding noise ever returned. For the entire process they were communicative, informative, and helpful. Their hours were great for someone who works 9-5. A week later when the noise came back (likely a fan bearing that decided it was good for another week) they had the new fans swapped in the day after those arrived for no additional cost. I found out about Angelo and West Haven Computer Solutions by Googling the internet for local computer repair shops. After reading a ton of reviews and seeing that Angelo was a small business man working out of his home I decided to call. Don't be put off by this. This keeps Angelo's overhead down and he's able to give his customers very fair prices. Angelo came to my home to help me get my Microsoft Office 365 programs working like I wanted them to after my computer hard drive crashed. After a new SATA drive was installed things were not all working. My Google took a while to get connected but Angelo was patient and had the knowledge to overcome all the obstacles.
