Today is May 28, On May 20th, I went to have 1/2 legs waxed in the afternoon. The technician was a student that was hired one month prior to my appointment. I mentioned to the girl that I was blonde and it was hard to see the hair on my legs. She agreed saying she was also blonde. I left and gave her $10. tip and I paid my bill at cash. I realized when I was laying in the sun that my knees had a lot of hair left. I waited to have something else to do in the area of the school to call them to let them know so I wouldn't spend gas just for an in and out for the correction on the knees. So, today, May 28, I called in the morning to let them know that my knees weren't properly waxed and I needed a correction which would have took 3 minutes for both knees to wax if the wax was warm The receptionist transferred me to another lady who told me that she would give me another appointment that I would have to pay with a discount of 10%. Are you kidding me?????? I don't need my legs waxed!!! They already are!!!!! My knees need waxed in some areas. I repeated to her that all I wanted was that the technician corrects what she didn't wax. The lady repeated the same thing.
So, I said no, forget it! That will be it for me at that school!!!! That woman has "no clue" what so ever on waxing!!! I had my legs waxed before and the lady that did it, was an experimented technician and I had no complain what so ever on her work..
So, who ever will read this review, take into consideration to check your legs after the waxing if you have the "new technician" freshly from the school. Nothing against her, she was very sweet but just didn't see all my hair!!!!
And for the management of the school, please, look at my file, I have taken so many massages of 2 hours and 1 hour plus the 2 waxing. Well, you have lost my clientele!!!! I’ll start with the great- the massage was one of the best I’ve ever had. The therapist really focused on my trouble spots and was very thorough. I Felt very relaxed when I left. Now, the not so great. The lady at the front desk was not very “warm and fuzzy” to say the least. She was very abrupt and pushy. I am used to walking into a spa and being greeted with a smile and being made to feel welcomed and relaxed from the get go. The best part is for only $25 dollars you get a 50 minute student massage or for $20 a student facial. The students are very professional and well trained, its obvious in their technique and skills. An instructor is always around to check on the student progress and answer any questions. Services are completed in a group environment but the lighting and music makes it feel like you are the only person in the room. Overall a great experience and its a great value for the money and well worth a try.
