PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS SCAMMER YOUR BUSINESS!!!! Would have given negative stars, but you must leave at least one star to write the review!!! We were referred to this scheister by a family friend. They installed our countertops in early February. I was home at the time and asked them not to leave before I inspected the job. Well, they ran out of the house without informing me they were leaving. When I realized it got very quiet, I went to the kitchen and they were gone. I was aghast at the “job” they did. They completely screwed the job up. It looked ridiculous and they clearly knew they did NOT cut the bar section to the correct dimensions. They left several pieces of the quartz unpolished, which was very noticeable. We called “Charlie,” the owner, immediately thinking he would come back ASAP to fix the major screw-ups. He blew my husband off for weeks. Then he finally called my husband back a few days before Easter and said he would come LOOK at it (not fix it) the Saturday before Easter Sunday. I said absolutely not. I needed to use the kitchen to prepare for Easter dinner. He then blew us off several more weeks only to call and offer to LOOK at it (not fix it) on the weekend my 20 year old nephew committed suicide to which I said no thank you. I was a bit busy with a funeral. He blew us off again several more weeks. Then he offered to come LOOK at the screw job in the afternoon of the Friday of Memorial Day weekend, but we were leaving for a trip several hours away and needed to leave by 3pm. I called Charlie to tell him that was way too late and once again on a holiday weekend. He was so rude!! He started yelling at me and literally threw it in my face that he offered to come “fix” the problems but I was too busy attending a funeral!!!!!! I was so disgusted that this horrible person would make me feel bad for wanting to attend my 20 year old nephew’s funeral. What kind of horrible person would bring that up????!!!! He hung up on me. I told my husband to call him back. While on speaker phone with my husband, he told my husband I was a crazy b$&ch and he refused to deal with me. He said they would be here by noon. They showed up at 1:15 pm, making us late leaving for our weekend trip away. They did NOT fix it correctly. He had his employees just cut several inches off the correctly cut slab to make it less noticeable that the bar portion of the counter top was about 3 inches too short. When my husband asked if we could at least receive a small refund for all the quartz that he ended up just cutting off and throwing in the trash, he accused my husband of trying to scam him!!!! What a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND USE SOMEBODY WHO KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING AND TAKES SOME PRIDE IN HOW HE DOES THE JOB. I could go on and on with way more sordid details, but this guy already stole enough of my time and money. I refuse to give him anymore of that. POOR customer service! First they showed up to install without an appointment, then on our scheduled install date they showed up late and couldn’t complete the job, came back the next day and there were no cutouts for the outlet, and them when they did come back to finish the install they broke the backsplash. So weeks later the job is still not complete. So glad they only required half of the money upfront because now no one is calling me back! They did however send me an invoice for the rest of the payment however I stated I would not pay until the job was completed. FYI….The installer Jordan was amazing & the scheduling/timing conflicts were due to no fault of his own but rather the offices and their poor communication and scheduling practices. Stone Connection was absolutely the right decision when it came it to the granite counters for our kitchen remodel. Their prices and lead time will not be beat by anyone. Other locations quoted us almost $2k more for entry level granite with up to a six week wait. Stone Connections prices were so competitive that we were able to afford a quality of granite that we otherwise wouldn’t have been able to, and we still saved money! Stone Connection installed our counter exactly a week after we first contacted them. Their selection was almost overwhelming but they were extremely accommodating and helpful towards making our decision. Their install team was completely professional, extremely efficient, and very clean. They were in and out within two hours and their work was flawless.
