The absolute worst pharmacy. You might as well drive to a neighboring town, you’ll have less arguments about prescriptions they “don’t have” (but do) and it would be faster to drive 30 minutes away than to sit and wait for these people to fill anything. They’re also incredibly rude to the medical staff that call in prescriptions. It’s truly ridiculous.
I have a foster dog in heart failure with high blood pressure and one of her medications is a human one. It’s a lot more cost effective to get the human version, even though I have to quarter very small pills.
First, the pharmacy staff gives my veterinary staff a hard time over not having an NPI number and refusing to give a DEA number which isn’t required for a blood pressure medication. Then, they proceed to argue about the small quantity (#5, cut into quarters is…. #20!) and say that I can’t possibly cut a pill that small which is unsolicited and untrue. You think they’d be aware of pill cutters, dealing with pills daily, but I guess not.
Each time I fill the med there’s a problem. Today they couldn’t find it at all, even though I told them the name on the last bottle. Fine. I’ll get the bottle. She takes it back to the pharmacist who I hear say rudely “There’s no refills.” Yeah, no kidding. That’s why it was called in on Friday, and why I asked to pick it up, not refill but they “can’t find it.” Well I know for a fact it was called in so they “look” and tell me it’s magically there but was just put back because I didn’t pick it up for 10 days. Friday, 2/14 when I requested the refill to Monday, 2/17 is….3…. days….
I cannot stand these people and it’s the last time I’ll ever fill a prescription there,...
Read moreTruly the worst pharmacy in the county!!! The customer service experience is horrible here, the staff that works here is not only rude, but they do not know what they are doing. They’re lucky to get a one Star or I would’ve gave them no stars! My physician had to call them three times to get them to fill an urgent prescription for my husband, and when I arrived there the next day they said they did not have anything in the system. And yet I’m receiving the phone alerts to pick it up. They open up late very often after 9 AM and close early. They completely shut down for one hour at lunch with no one to reach or talk to. I arrived at 8:45am and waited until 9:10am in the morning for someone to open the windows. The delivery person who delivers the medication was waiting outside of the pharmacy for over 20 minutes. If you need a prescription right away this is not the place to go, they will tell you to come back in a day or two. I waited on hold and called back three times on Sunday before I could get a hold of the pharmacist, my doctors office was on hold with them forever! The pharmacist on duty Sunday and her staff seemed very confused as to what was goes on. Stay away from this place, very unprofessional and unorganized! I ran into another customer in the parking lot with a very similar issue who referred me to the pharmacy at ShopRite! Terribly...
Read moreMy husband needed antibiotics and drops for an ear infection. His Dr sent the prescription over and we went in about an hour later (which was almost two hours before closing time) and they said they hadn’t received the prescription. Called the Dr’s office and they assured us it was already sent. We were told by the Walgreens pharmacy staff we would receive a text when it was ready, but closing time came and went with no text. We ended up calling the West Milford Pharmacy across the street because they were still open and explained what happened. They told us to come right over and get the meds as it was important for him to start the antibiotics ASAP. When we got there they let us know that Walgreens HAD filled and charged our insurance so we did have to pay out of pocket, but we could have Walgreens reverse the Rx and then come back into their pharmacy for a refund of what we had to shell out. I called this morning to have the Rx reversed at Walgreens and the staff member who took my call wasn’t very pleasant about it, even though it was their fault. No apology, just hung up on me. Never again will we use them, especially with friendly and COMPETENT pharmacists right...
