I try to support small local businesses whenever I can, so when I moved into the area, I tried to use this convenience store instead of Walgreens. The thing is, every time I go in there to get something to appease my sweet tooth, the owner has the most obvious monitoring of me to see if I'm stealing. I've always been kind to him and his daughter when she is in the store. I even go in after work in my work shirt, evidence that I have a job. One day I went in to get some ice cream and the guy leaves his place behind the cashier window to monitor me on the other side of the store as I browsed the ice cream freezer. I was done at that point. Never again. If after 4 years you still monitor me after never, ever seeing me steal anything then you are committed to the idea that some people are thieves and they can never prove you otherwise.
