I just bought a 2016 Ram. I love the truck. The deal not so much. When I talked to the salesman, Dennis, he said that I was eligible for a $500 rebate on top of the price listed, that his boss told him I would get a 'real good deal' on the price besides that, and that I would get a 'real good deal' on my trade. When I came in and got a quote, I found I wasn't eligible for the rebate, nothing was taken off the price, and I got low-balled on my trade. When asked what I would pay, we discussed a reduction in the price and a higher amount on my trade. He told me the difference in the trade couldn't be put on the trade but instead it was added 'in the numbers above' as was the reduction in price we had agreed to. He explained the bottom line was more because of the tax and other fees that were added on. We did final paperwork on Halloween night (bad idea) as it would allow them to get the sale on their October quota. I was told it would take '1/2 hour tops'. Nearly 2 hours later we were rushed to get the paperwork done so my kids could go trick-or-treating.
Again I questioned if those two amounts we agreed to were in there and was assured they were. When I got home and did the math, it didn't add up. The discount did not reflect what we agreed to. Now after lengthy conversations with both the salesman, Dennis, and the manager, John, blame was placed solely on me for signing a paper that I shouldn't have. There was zero accountability for what they agreed to and they acted as if it never happened. The paper that those numbers were hand written on mysteriously disappeared. Now I'm a fairly intelligent guy and am frustrated that I got deceived like that, but I trusted that on the several occasions when I asked if those discounts were included I was told that they were. They were not. Dishonest, deceptive, unethical...shady business. If you decide to do business with Pischke Motors, bring a calculator and question everything. You wait forever to get the paperwork and then they are quick and slick in getting you to sign.
Now every time someone asks me about my beautiful new truck and where I got it, I get to rehash this shady deal. I learned a harsh lesson the hard way. I hope it doesn't happen to...
Read moreWe took in our 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L (that we purchased through Pischke, new off the lot), now has 39,000 miles, after I was going 50mph down the road with my one year old in the car, when all the sudden, I lost control of everything. I had no brakes, no power steering, and all lights on the dashboard lit up. I was able to get it home and get my son home safe. The following morning when we were about to take it to them, the car wouldn’t start. Had to get it towed, that’s fine. Got a call from Pischke a few days later, saying there was a module that had been unplugged from behind the passenger side dash board, which in turn fried my batteries. My passenger side floor mat was “pushed too far forward and must’ve knocked that module loose”. My husband went and purchased batteries himself from O’ Riley’s and put them in himself. They then looked over the car once more to see if there was anything else wrong. Pischke then calls back a day or two later. There’s a fuse that needs replaced. My husband goes, orders the fuse then puts it in the next day. Everything was finally good to go again. After all of this, they weren’t willing to do any sort of warranty coverage on it, or any sort of discount for being slightly over that 3 year or 36,000 miles. All of the issues were “wearable items”, even though we have a 10 year or 100,000 mile warranty that we purchased through them at the time we bought our car. I started calling around to different dealerships to see what they could do for us, before having Pischke work on it. The Dodge Jeep dealership in Arcadia told us they would do a “Good Will discount” being that we are just slightly over that 36,000 miles, AND we didn’t even purchase our car through them!! The issues with our car, were NOT wearable items. There is a manufacturing flaw that needs to get addressed or someone will get seriously injured WHEN this happens to the next person. I do not recommend going there or purchasing a vehicle through them. They do NOT stand behind their product and have zero empathy towards...
Read moreI am giving a one star for multiple reasons. One issue is the service center and not standing by their vehicles. My husband and I purchased a brand new 2021 Chrysler Pacifica from the West Salem lot. What we thought was a safe reliable vehicle for our growing family has actually turned out to be a nightmare. We have had problem after problem with the electrical, the computer and the wiring in the steering wheel, the radio sometimes doesn’t work and recently there is a delay when I try to start it, and safety features do not work properly. It seems it’s every two to three months that there is some sort of issue.. This month the car is hesitant to start when I push the button so I can only imagine what will happen next…This last winter it stopped working completely wile driving with my little ones…I was without my car for a month before they were able to tell me “ohh it’s a computer issue” and when I did get it back there was garbage in the back almost like they were taking their lunch break in the back seat and it’s smelt terrible!! At this point I don’t feel safe driving the vehicle let alone driving my small children around. At one point we told them we know longer wanted the vehicle and were hopeful that they would at the very least work with us to buy the vehicle back. They came back to tell us there was hail damage when this car has never seen hail…. We do have a small dent in the front which we knew would bring the price down a bit but holy cow did I feel like money is the only thing they cared about when they came back with a trade in value ( which we didn’t want) we wanted them to buy the vehicle back and at the very least give us what we owe… we put 10,000 cash down so there was not much left to pay off. We have always been told that Piscke stands by their vehicles… I unfortunately cannot disagree more with that statement. We are extremely unhappy with our purchase and will never purchase another...
