WOW! Talk about an amazing, well thought out experience. My family was recently hit with covid and completely unprepared (not a can of soup in the house). My insanely thoughtful mom quickly got on the computer and ordered a box (or two) from Spoonful of Comfort. Honestly, I'm kind of picky when it comes to food so I didn't have high expectations when she told me what she had sent us, but the thought was so appreciated. Two days later what arrived blew my mind.

The most beautiful product packaging I've ever received... Warm inviting colors, well planned patterns, very southern kitchen feel. It was simply beautiful. We were all excited to see what was actually in the box. Honestly, the first thing I thought (negative Nancy) was "all the money goes into packaging and the products will just be mediocre". Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised.

Our boxes had pies (we haven't tried them yet), cookies (chocolate chip and ginger bread), tea, honey, bread, chicken noodle soup, macaroni and cheese (our kid doesn't like soup), a pie server and a soup ladle. We were spoiled!

First off... these cookies... I'm a snob when it comes to cookies, but those ginger cookies... I'm still wishing I hadn't finished them off so quickly. They are chewy, spiced perfectly and have this sugar dusted top that is to DIE for. I seriously have been trying to keep myself from ordering more of them. They were so good, I didn't even get a picture of them before my family and I devoured them. The chocolate chip cookies were also soft and delicious.

The soup (Chicken Noodle), so much better than any prepared chicken noodle I've ever purchased. The noodles stayed al dente, the chicken was soft and the veggies were still in tact after warming it on the stove. I would definitely get this again.

The bread rolls - these were a nice addition to the soup. I heated ours in the stove. They were nice an crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Just like fresh rolls from a restaurant.

The macaroni and cheese was good, but not our favorite of items in our box. The cheese flavor was a little to mature for my daughter. Our family prefers American cheese and mild cheddar. We still enjoyed it and the ease of just being able to heat up dinner instead of cooking something when recovering from the cooties.

Overall I would 1000% recommend sending one of these amazing boxes to a loved one in need, or just as a sweet gift. I would actually like to try the other soup and cookie flavors now.

Just do yourself a favor and don't forget the ginger...

Purchased a winter soup package as a surprise for my adult son who was working massive amounts of over time and was stressed. He loved the rolls, chocolate cookies and said the chicken with rice soup was impressive with it's thick broth, rice and chicken. He is an amazing chef in his free time and said he wished the soup had more seasoning. I wish for variety I could have ordered both chicken noodle soup and chicken with rice, but that was not an option so I had to order two chicken with rice soups (I would have been ok with a small up charge as the overall cost is expensive, but you're paying for the quality of the food and convenience). The seasoning and inability to order two different chicken soups is why I removed one star (I could have paired the chicken and rice soup with chili or mac and cheese, but neither appealed to me). Overall the ordering process was easy, and the quality of the food is top notch. I'll be back to order in the future for...

We received this in the mail about a week ago. I had never heard of it, but it was sent by my husbands company when we all came down with Covid. OH MY HEAVENS! I can’t say enough good things! We both hate chicken noodle soup, but this was delicious! My husband and I added garlic salt to it, and kept commenting on how good it was throughout dinner. We ate both tubs of it! The rolls were amazing as well! It also came with a cute ladle, some cookies, and I need to geek out about the packaging as well. I thought the packaging was absolutely adorable! I loved the fact that you could turn the patterned boxes right side out and reuse them for storage, or to regift them. We were so pleasantly surprised and touched by this.
