Slovacek's Christmas Store — Local services in West

If you haven't visited Slovacek's Christmas store yet, you definitely have to go. This store is open all year, and it sells a wide variety of home decor that is not Christmas related, including very unique pieces. Around October, they change all the merchandise and focus on everything Christmas, and it looks amazing. They have so many themes available for your Xmas tree like: candy land, sea life, Mexican, animals, retro, traditional, and more. You can look around at the decorated trees they have to get an idea. They also have a good variety of lighting and outdoor decorations. At the end of the Xmas season, they have really good sales, so definitely go and check that out. This store is located on the other side of the parking of Slovacek's. There's plenty of parking and the best of all you can buy one of their delicious kolaches at their main store before you go. Also, they have excellent customer service. Shout out to Abraham, who works there and helped us during our visit. What an amazing day! We had the best time browsing and shopping around this very eclectic store! The side nearest the gas station has all the incredible food - snacks jams, bakery, brisket/sausage/loaded baked potatoes etc! This side closes at 9pm..

The other side with the lawn ornaments and Christmas themed warehouse (which closes at 6pm) was absolutely stunning. So much fun to be immersed in.

But what really made the trip incredible were the staff members from each side. A special shout out to Lorie (I’m sorry if I spelled that wrong)! She went above and beyond to help us, show us the different areas, give us the history and information on the different pieces! Outstanding customer service!

My experience was very disappointing! my girlfriend and I discovered this store in May on our way to Waco. Decorations were 30% off. I was very excited because it looked like they had some lovely things. Unfortunately, I did not have my list of what I needed for next year at Christmas. They told me that their sale would be on through August. I called around July 4 and again they verified that the sale would be on through August.. I live two hours away. So my girlfriend and I planned a trip to go yesterday we were very excited because we had planned this little trip out. She’s a teacher and I am retiree.
