Mark Schilling “President, Distiller and Toilet Cleaner” is a genius! Mark’s extra dry Gin is stand alone excellent, and I’ve sampled many gins in the last 40+ years. Also, his pure corn whiskey is smoother than many of the best Kentucky bourbons my Bride and I have enjoyed in recent years. However, the true reason Mark is a genius is his hot sauce. Mark’s hot sauce is beyond belief!! It contains his amazing vodka infused with Ghost Peppers, Carolina Reapers, and Dragon Breath Peppers. When Mark mixed us a “Gin” Bloody Mary and we each added 3-6 drops of the hot sauce, it blew our minds. My buddy and I were looking for something to do and made a great decision to visit Hunt Club. We met Steve and Mark the co-owners who walked us through the history of the distillery and a tasting of all of their products which are all very good. We are both whiskey drinkers so gravitated towards those but their gin and rum worth a try as well. We then took a quick tour of the facility which is small but they distill the old fashioned way, over an open flame. Saving the best for last they let us fill our own bottle of 5.5 year old whiskey at barrel proof! Very cool experience! They also have live music every Saturday night and an antique store with a walk in humidor. Hunt Club is a must...

We had the best time last night. We booked a stay through Harvest Hosts and Boondocked on site. It was a Saturday so there was live music planned for the evening. We arrived, got the Motorhome set up and went inside for a private tasting. We can definately say that every product we tasted was fabulous. My favorites were the Gin and the Whiskey. My husband's favorites were the Vodka and Gin. We each had a cocktail made and had a private tour of the still and barrel house.
