I was working in Sheridan today and we decided to stop in for lunch being that Mad Max is a small mom and pop shop which are my favorites. Immediately after walking in the door, we were greeted by the owner and made to feel welcome. The food was AMAZING. The service was AMAZING. The owner is incredibly friendly and personable. You can tell it's a relaxed work environment for the employees, (which often times creates the best and happiest employees.) The owner sat with us and we talked about life and everything else under the sun. The only thing that disappointed me about this place is the distance from our home! The customer service was top-notch, and even though it was a busy time for the food truck industry, he said yes without hesitation. They set up and prepared the food quickly keeping the wait times to a minimum. He and Mad Max’s staff were constantly checking in on everyone to make sure each individual's needs were being met. Read moreCame for the food, but the guys behind the counter are the stars of the show. I almost forgot I was at a restaurant because it felt more like eating at a family member or friends house. I've changed my evening commute to school so I can eat here more often. The brisket is fantastic and swims in some of the best sauce I've had. On top of everything, my wallet doesn't even break a sweat. More than fair prices for food this good. I'll be back again and again...
