Slice LLC — Local services in Weston

Our horrible experience came at the expense of my daughter’s fifteen birthday party. Everything the owner/“chef” promised was not delivered. The food not only came out super late but was uncooked and came out at different times. My starving guests had to eat pasta and potatoes while waiting for the protein to be served. The venue was understaffed and didn’t have enough food. We had paid for an extra bartender who spent most of the night back in the kitchen trying to help out since she claimed covid had the other chef out for the night… the drinks were also very diluted. Knowing how terribly wrong the night went, she cried while apologizing to us towards the end of the evening when she finally came out to speak with my husband and I… she said “she would make it right by us” and asked us to call her in the morning while she extended the music for another hour (she said 2 but we had already told her we were going to pay for an extra hour before the party). Not only did she not meet with us the next day, she made us wait until Tuesday when she tried to intimidate us by making up some story about one of our guest (an old lady) that was “threatening a staff member”. She said she was trying to have that member not press charges with the police… followed by “I’m going to have to wait for my partner and attorneys” before I can speak to you again. Just...

We had our "Quinceañera" party for our Daughter at Slice and to be honest I was greatly impressed by the prompt, professional and dedicated support we got from Patty through the entire process.

The place itself is amazing, the location (right in Weston), the set of lights available, the furniture included, food, service and everything else needed for our party was perfect with no pressures, drama or trying to "upscope" additional services in any way.

I did my research comparing few other places to held our party like: ballrooms, renting an space and bring everything for decoration and catering, doing it at home, etc,etc and at the end in terms of value for a 50-60 people party including all our needs, Slice was our best option by far.

Our night was absolutely perfect, my Daughter had exactly the party she had in mind, my wife and I had the chance to enjoy the evening with our guest and everyone complimented us for such an amazing and unforgettable evening. Honestly I'm making sure everyone I know who is planning an event will hear about my experience there.

I am a firm believer in destiny, which is why I believe I was destined to have my boss’s retirement party at Slice. I researched and contacted at least 10 venues before I spoke to Keith at Slice. Slice had a lot of positive reviews, which left me curious. Keith explained everything in detail on the phone and I liked what I heard. I was able to book the venue for the Saturday that I needed, which happened to be the last Saturday available for that month. Destiny!!!

I told Patty my vision and her and Keith ensured that it came to fruition, which is all in the details. The party was absolutely fabulous. There were 60 guests and each of them raved about how beautiful the place was. The drinks were excellent, the food was served buffet style and it was delicious. Some of the guests even took a Slice business card to inquire about having their future events there.

Surprisingly, the guest of honor said that the party exceeded her expectations, which was the goal.
