Absolutely terrible they started brand new construction right after I upgraded my storage unit knowing that I was only going to be there a few months and then move out. Soon as that happens they only had one egg entrance to move out and the lowering dock was 10 ft higher than the vehicle I had to load everything by myself. So I stayed longer than I wanted to. Then I explained to them because of that I'm running out of funds for rent. Their employees told me not to worry if you get behind once it reaches a certain point will give you one day to come in and only pay one month's rent and I could take whatever I could with me and whatever I couldn't take with me I can sign over to them. I have proof of that information and yet the manager at the storage place told me too bad those employees no longer working there and she said to me good luck proving what the employee told me. Then I got an email congratulating me on selling my storage unit which I never approved of and I have personal and federal documents in my unit. Then just recently I got a text from the manager telling me my personal belongings are in our office and I have a certain amount of time to pick them up. So basically what she told me is if I own a painting company and sent my employees to paint the home and they ended up burning the house down, that the owner of the painting company would not be responsible because I didn't tell my employees they could do that and those employees are now fired. And I'm the owner and you still owe me money for the time they were there. That's basically what the storage unit manager is trying to tell me. Then the storage manager told me I could come pick up my personal belongings in her office. I do not understand what her idea of personal belongings are as far as my property goes. I'm just glad I have proof from those employees of them offering me that agreement. The managers just upset because her own employees offered me that agreement and she lost out on commission. So basically if the auction off my storage unit that means they stole my belongings. And then it goes into the...
Read moreI just recently rented a unit at the Weymouth location and I can already see the difference between here and the last place I rented from. (Not naming any names, but I'm point my finger at PS) As soon as I walked in the office, immediately I realized how much nicer, cleaner, and organized it was.
Not only was the appearance noticeable, but Tina was awesome. I ask a lot of questions because I like to make sure everything that is relayed to me I understand clearly. She was patient with me and answered all my questions to make sure I completely understood everything I needed and wanted to know. She was clear with her words, she never rushed me, and always had a positive tone and attitude. Customer Service is very important to me and she passed with flying colors in my book.
I notice details and a couple things that I have noticed that may not be a big deal for others, but the amount of carts that are available to use is way more than the other place. I didn't have to wait to move my items because there were carts available. Not only that, but you have a loading dock that is accessible for us to use with even more carts available on the dock. Details that makes things more convenient for me are important to me. Another is how I like that there isn't a support beam taking up space causing me not to be able to use the whole unit. Here, I can use the whole space that I'm paying for. Details is the hammer and you have nailed it.
I will definitely recommend this place if anyone I know is looking...
Read moreI rented a 5x10 Unit a couple weeks ago. As I was moving my stuff in it, I realized I needed some extra space (see what I did there). I went to the Office and spoke with Tina and asked about renting a Locker Unit in addition to the Unit I have already rented. Unfortunately, there weren't any Locker Units available. She did mention that she had just cleaned out a 10x10. I wasn't really interested in it because it may have been too much space I needed. She told me to go check it out, and I did. When I looked at it, it seemed too big for what I needed. I went back to put more stuff in my current Unit. No lie, like two minutes later, I changed my mind because I did need more space and that 10x10 Unit was available and the location was perfect. It was on the next floor up, but by the entrance. I told Tina I would take it. She did her magic and I moved into the 10x10 the moment the change was done.
I have to give credit to Tina for telling me to look at the Unit because if I hadn't, I probably would try to stuff all my items into the 5x10. As I was moving into the 10x10, I realized that it was the perfect size. So, kudos to Tina. Just like when I first rented the 5x10, she was amazing. She never pressured me into getting the 10x10. She just told me some options. Ya know, doing her job. I'm glad with switching to Extra Space because it has been very convenient for me in a...
