Wonderful experience, we loved this place! I want to start out by thanking our waiter, Ryan, he was the star of the evening! We were a party of nine, seven adults and two small toddlers. From the moment we sat down until the moment we got up Ryan saw to our every need. It was my 66th birthday so I've eaten out a lot of times over the years and I must say that I do believe that Ryan was the best server I think I've ever had. The atmosphere inside the establishment is very warm and friendly. We had the scallops, filet mignon with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts with bacon and maple syrup, and swordfish which was a special last night, not normally on the menu. I had the Caesar salad and we had the burrata charcuterie board as appetizer. We also have the salmon and a mushroom pasta dish which was also a special on the menu for that night. Everything was absolutely delicious. My filet mignon was medium rare as I requested. The brussel sprouts with bacon and maple syrup were absolutely delicious they were so good that even my 2-year old grandson was eating them. The two kiddos had grilled cheese and spaghetti with butter and parm cheese. All of the dishes were cooked perfectly have the Caesar salad was absolutely delicious. I shared a little bit with some others at the table because it was pretty large everyone agreed it was absolutely delicious. It definitely tasted like they make the Caesar dressing right there in house. My filet mignon cut like butter and speaking of butter it came with a cup of blue cheese butter on the side and it was very nice to have with the filet mignon. We also had some desserts and Ryan brought it to the table with a candle in it so everyone could sing Happy Birthday to me. I really don't remember what the desert was cuz I don't normally eat dessert but when we were ordering desert I did mention to Ryan that I would like to have a cup of coffee with Baileys Irish Cream and Kahlua and he said absolutely. Then a few minutes later he came back to the table with my coffee piled high with whipped cream and a lit candle in the middle of it. That was so special with him to do that and of course once again everyone at the table saying happy birthday to me. That was a very nice little touch Ryan! This is my new favorite place...
Read moreI had an incredible night at this restaurant, which I chose on a whim. From the moment we walked in, I felt transported back to a golden age of dining. We were warmly greeted by a joyful host who quickly seated us, even ahead of a late party.
The vintage atmosphere captivated me—the soft candlelight and the faint aroma of a lit fireplace had me sold immediately. Our waiter approached us with a beaming smile and a great attitude, effortlessly managing at least six other tables while making sure we felt attended to without ever feeling rushed. The drinks arrived—my classy Negroni and a martini felt like something straight out of "Mad Men," perfectly balanced and inviting me to savor each sip.
The fresh bread with seasoned olive oil was a lovely touch, setting the stage for what was to come. I couldn’t wait to order, knowing our time there was limited.
I opted for the broiled swordfish steak, which was tender and perfectly complemented by a bed of seasoned corn and a rich lobster bisque. I truly savored every bite, finishing my meal in 50 minutes because I couldn’t get enough and I am a fast eater. The scallop pasta was beautifully presented, with buttery scallops almost outshining the delicate angel hair pasta.
I could keep going, but you get the picture—this place is my new go-to. Whether you dress up for a fancy night out or keep it casual, you won’t regret stepping into this time-warped gem. The service, ambiance, drinks, and food rival places like Capital Grille or Davio’s, but without...
Read moreI was really excited to try this restaurant for my friend & my birthday dinner. The menu looked great and there were alot of good reviews. I really wanted to try the lobster roll! I called a day ahead to make a reservation with outdoor seating for 6pm. The man I spoke with said he didn't have outside seating for 6pm, but could do it for 6:30pm. We went with that time and wanted outside seating as a precaution for covid. Unfortunately when I got there they said they dont know who I spoke to but they have no outside seating available. That was unfortunate as we felt safer eating outside. We stayed and tried to be cautious inside. Our server was really kind and gave us great service. They were out of the lobster roll :( so I tried the slow roasted chicken, fingerling potatoes and roasted vegg. The pan sauce was delicious! But part of the chicken was tough and overcooked. The chicken itself lacked flavor so you really need the pan sauce. The structure of the restaurant is pretty inside, but the atmosphere is a much older crowd and lacks diversity. I wouldn't say this is a culinary destination or a place of intrigue for those in their mid-30s or younger. This is definately a space for 50s and above. Nice service, but disappointing...
