Capones Pizzeria and Bar — Restaurant in Weymouth

I ordered a chicken parm calzone on 4/25/2025 Friday night and my daughter and I both were sick from it. I was sick Friday night and all-day Saturday. My daughter had some left-over calzone on Saturday and got sick that night and Sunday. When I got the calzone on Friday, I thought it wasn't quite right but didn't think it was bad, I was wrong. We are regular customers at Capones and thought you should know about our experience. I waited over a week to hear back from Capones, and they never got back to me.

I would like to hear back from the owner because I tried to talk to Carlos, and he was of no help at all. talking over me when I called. I called and was told everyone from management was on a cruise. I called 5/7/2025 because Carlos said to call back then. I had to call three times to get an answer. The answer was nothing, you're not going to compensate my family for making us sick. Your manager Carlos (p.s. Time to revisit (Capones) Prohibition Pub, the sooner the better! When Capone's first opened years ago, it was a terrific place to enjoy a good meal, great service, friendly clientele and genuine ambiance as a speakeasy, Fedoras and Sinatra music to set the mood. A lot has happened since then and Prohibition Pub unfortunately had lost its "hospitality luster", along the way. We'd stop going several years back, and yesterday just out of curiosity, stopped in for a quick look see, and a cocktail. What a pleasant surprise, to find the same warm, clean and hospitable vibe, as once there was. No Fedoras or Frank, but Melissa the bartender made it fun, bringing us up to date on what's new and exciting with daily specials and Game Day offerings! The 4 stars are only because we did not eat there yet just saw the visual feasts being carried by, on the way to other jovial patrons. Reserving the 5th star in anticipation of a great meal and to try a Crown Apple Martini, there next week. Best wishes to all the fine folks...

We used to order from here all the time but stopped recently to save money. Tried to call and order last night and called the number on their website. The person that picked up just said hello and there was no background noise but didn't say there were Capones or anything so I was nervous to give my credit card information over the phone. I saw online that you can order online so we chose that method because the phone number and answering seem sketchy. Ordered a 16-in pizza, barbecue tenders, and mozzarella sticks. The tenders and the mozzarella sticks felt like they had been taken out of a freezer bag and quickly deep fried. The mozzarella sticks were not how they used to be. I would not order them again. Same with the tenders. The tenders were also not tossed and barbecue sauce. They just had barbecue sauce on the side. The pizza was mediocre at best.
