Terrible ManagementEverything overpriced.Very unprofessional with the public.I was never treated so poorly. They will never see my face in there again.●●●●●●●●.Today is May 4 2024.i did continue to go in there after the first incident after a while.NEVER AGAIN! The owner is so rude. A kind worker accidentally poured me hazelnut instead of regular. No biggie. I kindly went in there and asked if could please have another coffee because I believe hazelnut was poured instead of regular.i was talking to a young lady.she looked about 12 it could have been her daughter any was the owner MARIAH STORMED OVER AND INTERUPDED US AND SAID ITS NIT HAZELNUT ITS THE WAY THE COFFEE TASTES.I GET REGULAR ALL THE TIME THERE ,IT WAS HAZELNUT.PEOPLE MAKE MISTAKES,SHE WAS ABRUT LOUD AND SO RUDE TO ME.SGE INSISTED IT WAS REGULAR. SHE WOULD NOT POUR ME A NEW COFFEE.I ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK. ICANT BELIEVE I CONTINUED TO GO BACK THERE AFTER THE FIRST INCIDENT WITH HER.I HOPE HER BUSINESS FAILES. SHE HAS MADE SO MUCH $$ FROM ME ,AS I DID GO IN QUITE OFTEN.IM SO GLADE I WILL NEVER BE IN THERE AGAIN FOR HERE OLD STALE PASTRYS AND HARD WOOPIE PIES. HER STAFF THAT SHE HAS ON IS GREAT.ITS MARIAH THE OWNER WHO IS PLAIN OUT RUDE AND UN PROFESSIONAL. I HAVE NEVER BERN TREATED LIKE THAT IN MY LIFE BEFORE I WAS KIND AND I ALLWAYS TIP THE GIRLS.THE OWNER DOESNT EVEN SMILE.ALLWAYS HAS A PUSS ON HER FACE.IM SO GLADE SHE WILL NEVER GET ANY MONEY FROM ME ANYMORE.ALL OVER A10 CENT CUP OF COFFEE SMALL,THAT SHE CHARGES $3.00 FOR.I HOPE KARMA GETS YOU GOOD. YOU HAVE NO GOOD Quailtys TO RUN A BUSINESS. ITS YOUR STAFF THAT MAKES THE PLACE NOT YOU OR YOUR COFFEE N SOMETINES YOUR STAIL PASTRYS.DEFFINETLY DONT RECOMEND THIS COFFEE SHOP.SHE WAS SO RUDE!!!!IHOPE ALL OF YOU FUTURE CUSTOMERS READ THIS. AND I WAS A REGULAR CUSTOMER.THAT I REGRET. SHE SHOULD HAVE TASTED THE COFFEE FROM THE POT TO CHECK IF IT WAS HAZELNUT. BUT SHE WOULD NOT.SHE IS A REAL PIECE OF WORK.I HOPE YOU FAIL. IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD.YOU ARE A NIGHTMARE. I ONLY WENT IN THER BECAUSE IT WAS CONVIENENT.THER ARE PLENTY OF OTHER COFFEE SHOPS AROUND, WONT MISS IT. Horrible experience here. I have been going here for a long time for coffees and breakfast. And one day this week I went in to get a coffee I ordered, way in advance over the phone there a was big line. So I had to make a judgment call cause I know I every time I am in there, I still have to wait in line even if I pre-ordered. So I had to just leave and go to work and not get my coffee.

Fast forward to today.. I go in to get a coffee & treat, and the owner comes around the corner looking like she is ready to argue, and she asks me if I got a coffee the other day, but didn't get it and left, of course I said yes, like no big yea, I explained I just couldn't wait in line and be late for work. But I said I can pay for it now if you would like anyway, just like hey no big, I'll cover it today.

But she kept going on about it and proceeded to keep saying the same thing over and over again, as I kept repeating, yea, I could pay for that today for you though too. Like man, very unprofessional. As if she was looking for a fight over a coffee she had to dump. It's just a coffee and I offered to pay for it, but you still want to sit here and talk about it? To aggressive for me lol I am an easy going person, and I would of happily paid for it, and you could of just asked me once about it. But you clearly have an anger issue and took it way to personal. Lol needless to say I will never be back here. Unprofessional and rude owner. And the cinnamon bun we got was stale anyway today. After her badgering me about it, I didn't even bother to order my coffee, and being treated like that, I am not buying anything else from you. I will not support a business with someone like that running it. That was very unnecessary, and a bit dramatic lol. I read other people have had similar experiences too, and now I know for myself. The place is adorable, with lots of green plants and large bright windows. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and a good variety of Stash tea and various coffees, as well as baked goods and gluten free baked goods. They also have ice cream.

Service wasn’t quick (one person finally gave up and left the line), but everyone serving was super friendly and eager to help.

There is one step to enter, but otherwise it is flat. I did nearly trip on a plant that is to the left of the door but it’s small so you don’t see it. This plant should not be on the floor. Someone will trip.

The tea was good, but the breakfast pizza was gross. It had poppyseeds in its focaccia crust, which was an odd addition, and it tasted very bland. In fairness, I’m not a big fan of ham and I didn’t realize it had ham.

The slice of pizza and tea came to $6 something, so affordable.

The gluten free cupcake was gross and, upon inspection, over a week expired. They refunded my full order and took responsibility which I was grateful for, as I might have laid the blame on Sweet Sense for the dry, disgusting cupcake, and that’a not fair to the provider.
