Heart of Cartm — Local services in Wheeler

While it is a great place to recycle, some staff, one in particular is exceedingly rude. We have been there numerous times and have asked this particular employee a question, to which one time left us jaw dropped by stating "I am just not in the mindset right now to help you with that." Are you kidding me? That is your job. It's what you are being paid for. The rest of the staff is great and the Refindery is a great place to check out and browse around. The only other thing that is upsetting is that while they encourage recycling, because they make funds on the items people bring to them through either resale or through means of selling back the recycling items for reuse. The have agreements with the local cities that a recycling pickup service won't be allowed in the area. You would think this is something that they would be supportive of. They now have a moving truck that will come to your house to pick up your items that you wish to donate, though, so I guess that's a step in the right direction. I think that it is a travesty that this is the case, I believe there would be a lot more recycling being done if this clause was not...

Nice place. Store has a lot of personality to it. A little bit tricky to find. So I'm giving it 3.5 stars.
