Finally made the time to stop at this store that appealed to myself and my sons even by curbside with its colorful store front. We were NOT disappointed!! What an amazing selection and so well-organized, too. I thought the prices were a great range whether you wanted a few fun tokens from an odds and ends bin for a buck or two or were more in the market for a pricier collectible in its original packaging. Fantastic DC and Marvel section!! My oldest was beyond excited with the extensive selection of wrestling figures, anime and Manga. He even found ‘One Piece’ card sets! The owner was very friendly and informative, and since they have managed to keep their store open throughout the big Covid shutdown (when they first opened), I think it’d be great to support this local business for all your favorite collector’s needs. I know we will be back .. soon, and I am making a mental note to shop for next year’s stocking stuffers at this...
Read morePretty cool suburban store, with big city prices. It has about a quarter of the inventory compared to Wax Pax and prices about three times higher. And unlike Wax Pax there is no bargaining allowed. Still, I found a few cool items. After price checking on eBay I found I did get one good deal. The three items I regretted not buying there were quickly and much less expensively found online as well. Still there are great things going for this place. The owner was very friendly and the store is very well organized. Great variety for a smaller place. I'd still say the big negative was the pricing. It was even higher on many toy lines than the prices you'd find downtown. There were even items still available in stock online at half the price. Simply making the customer feel that they could be getting a bargain goes a Long Way. Still a 4 star experience. I recommend checking it out highly, just don't expect...
Read moreCame upon Geek Toy Hut heading to work one day. I wanted to check it out. At first, I wasn't sure if the place was open. The shop is hidden in a small plaza. And from the distance looked interesting with comic characters on the store front windows. Took a closer look and first thing you see inside is the shop is full of all kinds of figures, Marvel, DC, transformers, power rangers, star wars, pokemon cards, from A-Z if you are looking for something in particular, try your luck here. Different types of prices ranging from $5-$200. Geek Toy Hut also has a section full of different types of comics. When checking out, I suggest paying with cash. They do accept credit cards. And Google, Samsung pay but unfortunately not apple pay. Friendly staff and the store is nicely organized and easy to spot different figures. If you have time and love shopping for figures, check this place out with your kids. They...
