Rise Dance Elite was my daughter's dance home for a year when we were living on Whidbey Island. We had an exceptional experience at this dance studio. Our girl was 4-5 years old and quickly grew to love everyone at this veteran and female-owned business. I was always very comfortable having her take classes and become part of the competition company at Rise. Holly is knowledgeable, fun, engaging and truly cares about her students. During covid, she looked for every opportunity to continue supporting her dancers with zoom classes and even story time and parties over zoom. This helped to prevent total "covid isolation" and her students were always able to dance and do what they love. We really appreciated that about Holly. We also appreciated that costs were kept to a minimum on required attire and shoes. Items can be purchased at a good price directly from the studio. Holly's students learn self-respect as well as respect for others, self- discipline and many other important lessons to carry throughout their lives. The best part though, was the attachment our daughter felt toward her teachers and her fellow dancers. It was difficult to leave Whidbey and Rise. If we ever get to come back to Whidbey Island, we will be back at Rise Dance...

The coach is 5star amazing. He is patient and works with every single child. There is usually an assistant coach there to guide the children along with the coach and she does a fantastic job too. They help the children stay focused and understand how to do the proper techniques vs getting a semi proper form. My daughter looks forward to going every time. Lost a star because it was hard to understand the website and that was the only way to get her into the class and have the signups because nobody answered any calls. From the beginning my wife and son had a fairly difficult time with communication to and from this business. Classes were nice we thoroughly enjoyed the classes. But we moved away and went to disenroll him and found it to be almost impossible. We went to the FAQ page for a disenrollment form... why is it on the FAQ page?? We have called and emailed multiple times someone finally called back today. Why am I getting charged for November if we will not be attending any classes??????????????? Im so confused.
