High prices, low standards, terrible managent.

Prices are atleast 30% higher then anywhere else. Staff is all incredibly elderly and/or just not very aware/competent. The deli line can sometimes take 15 minutes to grab food and checkout for premade items during the middle of the day. Staff just continues to make those gross little sandwiches that just sit there for days and go to waste. The cold day-old fried foods is sold the next day for the same price as the fresh food. If you dont get things from the hot deli within the 2-3hr window of being made, its dehydrated and in jerky form. They force you to go into the long checkout lines during lunch because the highschool kids steal, so instead of taking responsibility, prosecuting the kids, or reaching out to the school, they choose to pass on the inconvenience and bad prices onto the community. Just hire an off duty officer and leave the self-checkout open, instead of being lazy.

And that's why you should travel across the bridge to get your groceries or just use the food delivery apps now. This business is known in Estacada and Welches as a place that comes and spikes prices in small communities.

They are such an amazing market place. They have just about everything you need to keep your cupboards and family stocked and full. Beyond that they have amazing staff who don't look down upon those who struggle. I have always been on the other end where I have been able to help someone else out but today that wasn't the case. As I stood there trying to figure out how to cover my groceries I wasn't judged, talked about, or pointed at. They were kind, patient, and understanding. Then we were blessed by an angel named Carlos. He covered us today I thank him and the kind staff. God blessed us today and did Carlos and my children and myself will forever be thankful. One of the highest price groceries I've ever been to and not because it's craft or specialty or even house brand like whole foods. Your regular choices mostly but at least 40% higher price than anywhere else. I do not drink alcohol so perhaps it's the liquor and spirits selection that is so legendary. I won't be risking it to look. Either way the fruit isn't very spectacular or the other produce OR the butchery and meat. It's a small place and the deli sections I had to eat went straight into the bin because they were stale and old looks and taste. The little stand alone kiosk where the various different fancy soap and other bath time items was a sensory refresher and actually is comparable to the same section at whole foods or other places.
